Over the last 18 years, the Indiana Pacers had 4 franchise players. They all averaged 20ppg+ a game. They all made it to the all-star game at least once. They were all rising superstars. They all won the "most-improved player" award.

Jermaine O'neal, Danny Granger, Paul George, Victor Oladipo.

Jermaine O'neal - Won the award during the 01'-02' season. Missed 69 games between 2004-2006 (Brawl + Injury). Had only one healthy season in his career afterwards. 

Danny Granger - Won the award during the 08'-09' season. Missed 20 games during 09'-10', another 20 during 11'-12', then his career went on life support, playing a TOTAL 76 games during his next 4 seasons before retiring. 

Paul George - Won the award during the 12'-13' season. Missed the entire 14'-15' season with a shocking injury during a game with the national team. Managed to bounce back and traded out of Indiana, the "curse-lifter".

Victor Oladipo - Wins the award during the 17'-18' season. Missed 10 games before being out with a season-ending injury.
