Bad news for the league leader Oostende, 2 players suffered injuries and both could be out for some time.
The worst off seems to
Lavor Postell (197-F/G-78, college:
St.John's) who will be out at least 6 weeks.
Artroscopic surgery will need to be done to repair minor damage in his right knee.
X-rays taken recently reveal however that there is more cause for concern with his cruciate ligament.
During the artroscopic operation the surgeons will check to see how bad the damage to Postell's cruciate ligament is.
Worst case the season could be over for him.
The injury to German national team player Denis Wucherer (196-G-73, agency: Court Side) is not as bad as feared at first.
A scan showed no broken bones in his foot but a small muscle injury.
He will not practise the rest of the week and will undergo a medical test on Saturday to see if he can play against Bree.
