Carlo Ancelotti was not particularly disappointed with the point gained by the Rossoneri away to Lazyo, mostly thanks to the good performance offered by his rearguard, even though he believes his squad should improve in the last pass.

"We did well in defence, but we were not precise in the last pass," commented Ancelotti. "We played in a speculative way, the match was blocked and balanced."

Ancelotti also spoke about hte possible arrivals of Massimo Oddo and Ronaldo, which can be announced in the coming days.

"We did not announce anything yet (for Oddo), we're still waiting. With regards to Ronaldo, he's a great attacker and wants to leave Real, he might be a solution."

The Rossoneri failed to beat Lazyo on Sunday night at the Olimpico, but for Nelson Dida, this point was still good enough for Milan's cause.

"A point away from home is good. I worked well with everyone, in particular the Milan staff. We chose the best way to operate and so I can be on the pitch.

"For us it's a good result away from home. It was a difficult match, but a point away from home is always good."

Dida commented the possible arrival of Ronaldo to Milan.

"We're still waiting. He's a great friend, I hope he can play, if not for Milan at least with Real. He's a great player, staying out is not nice."

The Brazilian goalkeeper's contract extension with Milan has not been solved yet.

"I'm here, I'm doing my best to help the squad to finish in fourth or even third place."

Rossoneri negotiator Ernesto Bronzetti has revealed that the Fenômeno’s phenomenal anger at what he sees as persecution at the White House is the key to a return to Milan.

"The key to a successful and agreeable transfer is in Ronaldo’s ‘incazzatura’ [extreme annoyance]”, explained the exec who’s got the task of bringing the number 9 back to San Siro on a free transfer.

He went on to adopt a sever bargaining position that makes it clear that if Madrid are holding out for a 10 million Euro Rossoneri offer then they’re just holding out for heartbreak.

Bronzeti knows full well that the player has to go public to demand a move in order to get Madrid to release him for free as a throbbing headache rather than a solid investment.

"Milan are now waiting for an answer from Ronaldo and Galliani has opened the Milanello doors for him. It’s something that Ronaldo needs to resolve”, he stressed.

“The Ronaldo issue has reached stalemate right now, but that was predictable as they were playing in Mallorca and all their chief executives are there while Ronaldo is in Madrid with his son"

With an announcement expected this week one way or the other s the transfer window gets ready to slam shut there were a few choice words comparing Ronaldo to Figo.

“Milan are waiting for Ronaldo to come forward and make a decision, but I don’t see him burning with desire to learn Arabic”, he jabbed in reference to a supposed Al-Ittihad 10 million Euro bid.

“He’s only 30, not 34 or 35 like Figo, so he’s in a different position. What do we do now?  We wait for him to decide”, ended the exec with a sly smile.

Alessandro "Billy" Costacurta is thinking about his future and admitted he hopes to one day replace Carlo Ancelotti as coach of Milan.

"In about nine years' time I would love to become Milan coach" he told Rai Due. "It would have to be precisely nine years though! Doing it any earlier would cause problems to someone I am very close to, Ancelotti."

President Silvio Berlusconi and transfer strategist Adriano Galliani both agree that Milan's coach of the future will again be a figure from the Rossoneri's past. With Maldini already pulling out of the race as he claimed he will not be a coach after he hangs up his boots, Costacurta would certainly be an option.

The defender turned 40 last year, but is still a player Milan rely on for their defence. He also commented on the Calciopoli scandal which left Milan with an 8-point penalty: "I was astonished by such a harsh punishment. I didn't see anything serious in the evidence. The penalty certainly affected the team, although I can't say how much, especially during the difficult moments of a match."
