Abramovič je svojom voljom doveo Ševčenka kojeg Mourinho nije želio i tu se zakuhao njihov odnos. Onda pošto Ševčenko nije igrao dobro smijenio je Mourinha.

Andre Villas-Boas said not to "expect something from one man" as he gave his first interview after becoming Chelsea manager.

The 33-year-old signed a three-year contract after the Blues agreed to pay a reported L13.3m to release him from his Porto contract.

"Don't expect something from one man," he told Chelsea TV.

"Expect us to create a group dynamic of everybody getting together, with people getting excited with the motivation."

Some sections of the media have dubbed the Portuguese manager as a new version of former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, who described himself as the "Special One" on his arrival at Stamford Bridge seven years ago.

However, Villas-Boas, who worked for compatriot Mourinho at Chelsea, has made it clear that he is keen to divert attention away from himself and focus on bringing success to the club as a result of teamwork.

"It's about a new way of communicating and the new leadership - this is the most important thing," he added.

"It is not about my arrival. It is about the continuous success of this club."

But he also acknowledged that there is a pressure to succeed at Chelsea and pledged to help the club fulfil its ambitions.

"Let's reflect on the success of the past six years at this club and what we have achieved and now what we can achieve in the next six years again," said Villas-Boas.

"There is no doubt that the challenge for me is to keep winning. I am an individual who has that hunger for success and I want to keep it that way."

Villas-Boas tendered his resignation with Porto on Tuesday and his decision has not gone down well with supporters of his former club.

"Despite the 'no hard feelings' official line from FC Porto, Villas-Boas's departure has not gone down at all well in Portugal's second city," reported BBC Sport's Matt Slater in Porto.

"Just another money-obsessed careerist would be the polite translation of much of what I've heard here and he already has a new nickname, Andre Libras-Boas: Andre Good-Pounds.

"The fans were looking forward to taking on Barcelona in the European Super Cup in August and a crack at the Champions League. Now they are panicking about pre-season starting next week and which players AVB is taking with him."
