Arsenal zastrasujuci, perfektno!

ARSENAL
Ins: Thomas Vermaelen (Ajax, undisclosed), Jamie Edge (Cheltenham, undisclosed).
Outs: Rui Fonte (Sporting Lisbon, free), Emmanuel Adebayor (Man City, L25m), Kolo Toure (Man City, L15m), Havard Nordtveit (FC Nuremberg, loan), Anton Blackwood (Tottenham, free), Abu Ogogo (Dagenham & Redbridge, free), Rene Steer (Oldham, free), Paul Rodgers (Northampton, free).
Happy with your summer's work? I'm happy we've strengthened at the back with Vermaelen but there's room for more. That elusive defensive midfielder seems the most obvious. Could Paddy come back and restore the glory days? I damn well hope so!
How's the boss doing? In Wenger we trust. Frustration with a lack of silverware is apparent but I don't see anyone else who could improve the situation massively given our financial position.
Player to watch? Andrei Arshavin. First full season...and we all know what happened at Anfield. Perhaps a bit early but I have a very keen eye on the progression of young Wilshere.
Boo boy? Adebayor and Ashley Cole. No surprises there.
Top four in order? (Heart) Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, United. (Head) Liverpool, Chelsea, United, Arsenal.
Relegated? Burnley, Hull, Wolves.
Where will you finish? I hope we'll be challenging for the title. May depend upon signings in the next couple of weeks. Fourth.

ASTON VILLA
Ins:
Stewart Downing (Middlesbrough, L12m), Habib Beye (Newcastle, L2.6m),
Fabian Delph (Leeds, L6m), Courtney Cameron (Northampton, undisclosed).
Outs: Gareth Barry (Man City, L12m), Zat Knight (Bolton, L3.5m), Stuart Taylor (Man City, free), Sam Williams (Yeovil, free), Martin Laursen (retired), Robert Elvins (released).
Happy with your summer's work? We've lost Laursen to retirement; Barry, Taylor and Knight to Man City and Bolton respectively; and due to injuries to Bouma, Petrov and Luke Young our squad is looking very small. We've only brought in Downing and he's on the injured list until Christmas. However, we won The Peace Cup in pre-season, beating teams like Juventus and Porto.
How's the boss doing? I have a lot of faith in Martin O'Neill and think he will bring in more players before the season begins. He's still loved by the Villa faithful and will stay at the club as long as he chooses.
Player to watch? Ashley Young. His ability to take players on and get in good positions using his pace, flair and timing will be a huge asset.
Boo boy? This'll be Gareth Barry, no doubt about it. Although a loyal servant for a decade, he left for a huge pay packet rather than Champions League football. He has put a lot of pressure on himself and Manchester City to perform.
Top four in order? Chelsea, United, Liverpool, City.
Relegated? Burnley, Wolves and Stoke.
Where will you finish? I can see Everton and Tottenham having good seasons, leaving us amongst teams like West Ham and Fulham but pipping them to eighth spot.

BIRMINGHAM CITY
Ins:
Christian Benitez (Santos Laguna, L7.7m), Roger Johnson (Cardiff, L5m),
Scott Dann (Coventry, L3.5m), Barry Ferguson (Rangers, L1m), Giovanny
Espinoza (Barcelona SC, L385,000), James O'Shea (Galway Utd,
undisclosed), Lee Bowyer (West Ham, free), Joe Hart (Man City, loan).
Outs: Stephen Kelly (Fulham, free), Michael McKerr (Oldham, free), James McPike (Kettering, free), Medhi Nafti (Aris Salonika, free), James O'Brien (Bradford City, free), Krystian Pearce (Peterborough, loan), Robin Shroot (Burton Albion, loan), Radhi Jaidi (released).
Happy with your summer's work? We've signed seven or eight players, which we needed to do to stand any chance of competing. Time will tell, though. Our main signing, Christian Benitez, is injured so we haven't seen him yet. Without him we look desperately short of goals.
How's the boss doing? Alex McLeish got us up having not been wholly responsible for us going down. Having said this, his brand of football is pretty ugly. This season is make or break for him.
Player to watch? As I mentioned, fans are expecting big things from Benitez. He scored around 50 goals in 80-odd games in Mexico and is a proven goalscorer for Ecuador. Hopefully he can follow in the footsteps of countryman Antonio Valencia in England.
Boo boy? The manager is most vulnerable as the fans aren't sold on his obsession with Scottish players. Would any other manager have spent L5.5m on James McFadden? Aside from this, anyone at Villa. John Carew can expect a reception in September after his 5-1 hand gesture last time round.
Top four in order? I hope Liverpool win the league, and I reckon most observers of the top four would go along with that. With United losing two big players I am going for: Liverpool, United, Chelsea, Arsenal.
Relegated? Hull, Wolves, Burnley.
Where will you finish? 16th - though we've been so unconvincing in pre-season that it's hard to say anything with conviction.

Pivkovski (Malmo, undisclosed), Franco Di Santo (Chelsea, loan), Alex
Marrow (Oldham, loan), Gavin Gunning (Tranmere, loan), Lars Jacobsen
(Everton, free), Elrio van Heerden (Brugge, free).
Outs: Roque Santa Cruz (Man City, L18m), Matt Derbyshire (Olympiakos, L3m), Andreas Arestidou (Shrewsbury, free), Bjorn Bussmann (1860 Munich, free), Bryan Hodge (Partick Thistle, free), Tony Kane (Carlisle, free), Josh O'Keefe (Walsall, free), Andre Ooijer (PSV Eindhoven, free), Aaron Mokeona (Portsmouth, free), Dean Winnard (Accrington Stanley, free), Alan Judge (Plymouth, loan), Keith Treacy (Sheffield Utd, loan), Mark Bunn (Sheffield Utd, loan), Tugay Kerimoglu (retired).
Happy with your summer's work? I'm really happy with the transfers in: Jackobson, Nzonzi, Di Santo and Kalinic could all prove shrewd moves. They're all young players who will hopefully show enthusiasm and hunger to perform well. Santa who?
How's the boss doing? Sam has done a great job so far. When he joined we were in freefall.
Player to watch? I'm really excited to see Kalinic, he has a good scoring record with Hajduk and we have a knack of getting the best out of strikers: Shearer, Sutton, Bellamy and Santa Cruz all peaked at Rovers.
Boo boy? Has to be Diouf in terms of visiting teams but Santa Cruz is my boo boy for next season. I didn't like the fact he tried to promote his move for the best part of last season - plus the fact we don't like City.
Top four in order? Chelsea, Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal.
Relegated? Wolves, Hull, Burnley.
Where will you finish? I'm hoping we can have a good cup run and finish in the top 10 - that would be a satisfactory season.

BOLTON WANDERERS
Ins:
Zat Knight (Aston Villa, L3.5m), Sam Ricketts (Hull, L3m), Lee
Chung-yong (FC Seoul, L2.2m), Sean Davis (Portsmouth, free), Paul
Robinson (WBA, loan).
Outs: Blerim Dzemaili (Torino, L1.6m), James Sinclair, Robert Sissons, Nathan Woolfe (all released).
Happy with your summer's work? Not too bad. We have brought in a few defensive players, but we could also do with a creative midfielder and a decent centre-forward.
How's the boss doing? Gary Megson has done okay - it seems he is building slowly and taking it step by step.
Player to watch? Fabrice Muamba will come of age this season. Matthew Taylor will be another important player and I expect him to get better after settling in during the last campaign.
Boo boy? Patrice Evra - he had a run-in with Kevin Davies in the past.
Top four in order? Same as last season. Can't see Manchester City breaking into the top four.
Relegated? Expect Wolves and Burnley to struggle and the other relegation place will be fought out between Birmingham and Portsmouth.
Where will you finish? If we have a little bit of luck we can finish 10th.

BURNLEY
Ins:
Steven Fletcher (Hibernian, L3m), Tyrone Mears (Derby, L500,000), Brian
Easton (Hamilton Academical, L350,000), Richard Eckersley (Man Utd,
compensation), David Edgar (Newcastle, compensation), Fernando Guerrero
(Independiente, loan).
Outs: Besart Berisha (Armenia Bielefeld, L75,000), Steve Jones (Walsall, free), Gabor Kiraly (1860 Munich, free), Alan Mahon (Tranmere, free), Alex MacDonald (Falkirk, loan).
Happy with your summer's work? We always knew it was going to be a tough summer having won promotion via the play offs. In terms of finance we are way behind everyone else. The policy has been to recruit young players who can improve over time.
How's the boss doing? 'Owen Coyle is God' banners have been appearing worldwide at sporting events, even over the pond in America. In just a season and a half he's taken us into the Premier League and there were thousands of Burnley fans wearing Owen Coyle masks at Wembley.
Player to watch? Robbie Blake remains a massive influence in our team. Now in his 30s, he's had spells in the top flight previously with Bradford City and Birmingham.
Boo boy? We won't be booing any of our own players, not after what they've achieved for us over the last year. So we'll reserve our vitriol for anyone wearing a blue and white halved shirt.
Top four in order? As much as I'd like to think we'd be in there I have to be realistic for now and not name us. So, Chelsea, United, Liverpool, Arsenal.
Relegated? Hull, Portsmouth, and I'd love Blackburn to be the third but Big Sam's hardly expansive style will probably win them enough points, so I'll go for Bolton.
Where will you finish? If someone offered me 17th now I'd take it. Who knows? It would be good to get a second season in the top flight and I have belief we can achieve that.

Ins: Yuri Zhirkov (CSKA Moscow, L18m), Daniel Sturridge (Man City, compensation), Ross Turnbull (Middlesbrough, free).
Outs: Ben Sahar (Espanyol, L800,000), Sergio Tejera (Real Mallorca, undisclosed), Frank Nouble (West Ham, compensation), Jimmy Smith (Leyton Orient, free), Ryan Bertrand (Reading, loan), Slobodan Rajkovic (FC Twente, loan), Scott Sinclair (Wigan, loan), Franco Di Santo (Blackburn, loan), Lee Sawyer (Southend, loan), Patrick Van Aanholt (Coventry, loan), Jason Tabor (Cheltenham, non-contract), Mineiro (released).
Happy with your summer's work? Pleased. Glad we played AC and Inter in the tour of America - it makes for a good build up and helps us to prepare more than playing smaller teams. We've kept our key players.
How's the boss doing? The new boss has made a good first impression on me. He comes across well in the media and the good pre-season results are hopefully an indication of what we can expect.
Player to watch? Drogba. If he stays fit I'm expecting him to have a good season, he seems really up for it.
Boo boy? Craig Bellamy.
Top four in order? Chelsea, Liverpool, United, Arsenal.
Relegated? Portsmouth, Hull and Burnley (although if Portsmouth get bought out they could be saved).
Where will you finish? We'll finish top, it's our turn!

EVERTON
Ins:
Cody Arnoux (Carolina Dynamo, undisclosed), Anton Peterlin (Ventura
County Fusion, undisclosed), Luke Garbutt (Leeds, compensation),
Shkodran Mustafi (Hamburg, free), Jo (Man City, loan).
Outs: Lars Jacobsen (Blackburn, free), Thomas McCready (Hibernian, free), John Irving, Eunan O'Kane, Cory Sinnott, John Paul Kissock, Andy van der Meyde, Scott Spencer (all released), Nuno Valente (retired).
Happy with your summer's work? Not much to report. Moyes again has to wheel and deal after the board grant him a budget comprising two bags of winegums and a bounty duo. The ongoing Lescott saga may see Moyes with some cash to spend, but little time to spend it. Lots of teams chasing centre-backs this summer makes replacing him a task, even with money.
How's the boss doing? Still working miracles given the circumstances. Got us the coveted *cough* title 'best of the rest' for a second successive season plus a couple of trips to the new Wembley. Moyes will be expecting his charges to reach Europe again this season.
Player to watch? Jack Rodwell.
Boo boy? Our homegrown right-hand side's 100 per cent commitment will never win over some of the home fans who have noticed neither are Kaka. Obviously a few from across the park will get their share of banter. On the opposite side of the fence I suspect Carsley will get a good response when he brings Brum up to Goodison.
Top four in order? I think a full season from Arshavin will see Arsenal more in touch than last season. I expect a tight finish – Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal.
Relegated? Portsmouth look in all sorts of bother but Birmingham, Hull and Burnley.
Where will you finish? Europa League spot. Probably 6th or 7th in a group with Villa, City and Spurs.
Blake Dutton, fan
FULHAM
Ins: Bjorn Helge Riise (Lillestrom, L1.5m), Kagiso Dikgacoi (Goldon Arrows, undisclosed), Stephen Kelly (Birmingham, free).
Outs: Leon Andreasen (Hannover 96, free), Collins John (KSV Roeselare, free), Karim Laribi (released), Mortiz Volz (released).
Happy with your summer's work? Very quiet on the transfer front. Fulham are a club that keep their deals close to their chests, so I never listen to the media about who we will sign. Peter Crouch was close to signing but chose Spurs instead. We have signed John Arne Riise's brother, though.
How's the boss doing? Roy Hodgson is a very knowledgeable bloke and has contacts all over the world, so hopefully he can call in a few favours and get us a few more players.
Player to watch? Well if he can repeat last year's form, then Brede Hangeland. Arsenal are allegedly interested in him and I think he will go sooner or later to a top four club.
Boo boy? Jimmy Bullard will come in for a few boos. He didn't leave in the best of ways, but we did well to get L5million, especially as he's injury prone. We never boo our own players, but the way Bobby Zamora reacts to the Fulham crowd, he could well come in for a bit of stick from certain sections.
Top four in order? Tough one this year with Man Citeh spending big but I will stick with the usuals and say Man United, Liverpool, Chel**a and Arsenal.
Relegated? Portsmouth, Hull and Wolves. History says hardly any of the three promoted teams all stay up together. Last time that happened was when we came up with Bolton and Blackburn.
Where will you finish? Depends how far we go in the Europa League with our small squad. I'll say 12th, which for a club our size is still a good achievement.
Neil Townsend, Official Fulham Supporters' Club
HULL CITY
Ins: Seyi Olofinjana (Stoke, L3m), Steven Mouyokolo (Boulogne, L2m), Jozy Altidore (Villareal, loan).
Outs: Sam Ricketts (Bolton, L3m), Wayne Brown (Leicester, undisclosed), John Welsh (Tranmere, free), Dean Windass (Darlington, free), Ryan France (Sheffield Utd, free), Michael Bridges (released).
Happy with your summer's work? It's been frustrating missing out on the players we wanted. There was welcome news as Seyi Olofinjana signed from Stoke and Jozy Altidore - highly rated in America - also joined subject to getting a work permit.
How's the boss doing? Phil Brown made some mistakes in the second half of the season, trying to play a more defensive game which didn't improve our defence and weakened our attack. He also might have done better in the January transfer window, although if his main signing, Jimmy Bullard, had been fit for more than one game things would have been very different.
Player to watch? Centre-back Michael Turner, although we hope scouts and managers aren't watching him.
Boo boy? Fraizer Campbell. We'll never forget his importance in Hull City's promotion, but stringing us along this summer until he got a transfer he preferred was not responded to with understanding by our fans. We hope he'll be happier sitting on Sunderland's bench.
Top four in order? United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal.
Relegated? Burnley (lack decent defensive players), Wolves (lack proven Premiership players), Portsmouth (lack any players). Or maybe us.
Where will you finish? 18th.

18th.

Happy with your summer's work? Not seen anything of the new boy Aquilani although the noises have been very encouraging - 'Paul Scholes who can tackle.' The summer's Coup De'tat was bringing Kenny back to the fold in our coronation season as English champions for the 19th time.
How's the boss doing? When United began building their own dynasty 20 years ago, Ferguson's main hurdle was a floundering Liverpool. When Rafa took over, not only had he to contend with very strong United and Arsenal teams along with a cash-rich Chelsea but also an unprecedented number of wealthy owners in the Premiership. What he's done, then, has been nothing short of a miracle.
Player to watch? Danny Agger is the player that will shape this season for me. He allows us to play a much higher line with his effortless ability on the ball.
Boo boy? Do you really need to ask?
Top four in order? Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City.
Relegated? Birmingham, Burnley, Portsmouth.

Happy with your summer's work? Very - we could have done with strengthening the defence more but very happy with what we have done. Tevez, Santa Cruz and Adebayor are fantastic acquisitions, added to Robinho we have arguably one of the best forward line ups in the Premiership. With Barry and De Jong holding the midfield it will allow us to go forward through a number of options.
How's the boss doing? Can't fault him at the moment. He has gone about the signings in a professional way. As for the friendly results, they are just that, friendlies, can't judge him on them.
Player to watch? Robinho - now he has his first season in the bag and with the added quality around him he will shine this year.

Happy with your summer's work? Not really. We haven't replaced Ronaldo. When you lose a world-class player, if you want to keep winning trophies, you need a world-class replacement(s). I was hoping for Benzema or Ribbery. Tevez always gave 100 per cent but his scoring record was poor and his transfer fee too high. I'm confident Owen will do well.
How's the boss doing? Couldn't be better. Last season we entered five competitions, won three and reached a final and semi-final in the others. The media keep trying to write him off but he keeps building great teams that win trophies.
Player to watch? Federico Macheda. He's a natural goalscorer who's a great prospect. Rafael Da Silva is also becoming a fantastic player.

Happy with your summer's work? We've replaced the best right-back in the division with a player who is already injured, our most consistent midfielder last season with a Blackburn reject and our top scorer with a player who scored a paltry two goals last season for Lyon. We've also signed an ex-Southampton 'keeper who retired last year and released around eight players, so in a word, no.
How's the boss doing? Part Hart is already under a lot of pressure despite keeping us up last season. There's no Brian Kidd to assist him this time and he seems dull and uninspiring. To his credit, he is doing everything he can whilst Pompey remain in financial limbo.
Player to watch? David James, he's going to be a very busy man this season.
Boo boy? Jermain Defoe and Harry Redknapp are guaranteed abuse when we play Spurs this season. As for our own boo boy, Hayden Mullins takes some stick from the home support because he doesn't know how to pass forwards.
Top four in order? Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City.
Relegated? Burnley, Hull and ourselves.

Happy with your summer's work? Pretty ordinary on paper so far, with Dean Whitehead the only new face heading into the new season. But transfer activity at Stoke tends to centre more on August than July, so no-one at this end is too surprised.
How's the boss doing? He can do little wrong in the eyes of fans, and rightly so after the last two seasons. He has raised a few eyebrows, however, by moving on his assistant manager and fitness coach before lining up immediate replacements. But he tends to get these things right eventually and so most attention remains focused on which players are coming through the door.

Happy with your summer's work? Very. We've improved a largely underachieving squad with the additions of Bent, Campbell, Cana and Da Silva, though the latter seems to be having problems getting into the country.
How's the boss doing? Steve Bruce has brought in players with a distinct enthusiasm, desire and quality to play for Sunderland, and I think that's won over the minority of supporters who were holding his black and white roots against him. He's also brought a sense of optimism back.
Player to watch? Darren Bent. Despite being Tottenham's top scorer last season, he failed to hold down a place in the side, so I reckon he'll be looking to prove Harry Redknapp wrong this season.
Boo boy? Harry Redknapp. Spurs held us to ransom for Bent. If I had to choose a footballer it'd be John Terry, a man living under the facade of the Mr Chelsea myth.

Happy with your summer's work? Very. I wrote a half-joking piece at the end of the season saying I hoped we did no summer business. It was always a long shot, but we've come pretty close. We know Peter Crouch can play with Jermain Defoe; he should be able to play with Robbie Keane. Darren Bent could do neither. We've overhauled the squad completely every summer for the last three years and started each season like relegation fodder and, usually, sacked the manager by November. Had to be worth giving the other option a go. Still no left-winger, though.
How's the boss doing? Whatever you think of 'Arry, he certainly knows his way around the Premier League. Yes he may be a wide boy, yes he may be over-reliant on the words 'top' and 'triffic' and yes he may be too keen on creating spurious coaching roles for his son and all his mates. But we had two points from eight games (which 'Arry is of course too humble to mention) when he came in and he dragged us kicking and screaming to ninth. Can't argue with that. He's a top, top, top manager.
Player to watch? Luka Modric. He took a while to settle, but he's quite clearly head and shoulders above everyone else in our squad. Which means we've got one more year of him before we sell him to Manchester United. It's tradition. He really is a lovely player, though. Touch, vision, surprising strength, bad hair. If he learns to shoot, he'll be a world-beater.
Boo boy? I think we, more than any other club, love to abuse our own. Jermaine Jenas and David Bentley are the likeliest recipients of our unique brand of support. From the opposition, there's only one: Sol Campbell. On a personal level, I have an irrational hatred of Samir Nasri, based on two things: one, he plays for Arsenal (and that's enough) and two, he looks just like talent vacuum 'comedian' Michael McIntyre. Top four in order? Careful what you wish for. After years of hoping someone would break the top four, it might happen this year. But only by the Chelsea of the North, which doesn't really help. How's the boss doing? It's too early to tell about Roberto Martinez at this stage. His record at Swansea was very good, but he is an unknown quantity at the highest level of English domestic football. I think he will get quite a lot of support from the fans having been a Wigan old boy.

Top four in order? Sorry chaps, but I reckon it'll end up being Chelsea, Liverpool, Man U and Arsenal, just.
Relegated? Burnley, Hull and Spurs.
Where will you finish? Predictably in 9th or 10th.
Ins:
Jason Scotland (Swansea City, L2m), Jordi Gomez (Espanyol, L1.7m),
James McCarthy (Hamilton Academical, L1.5m), Roman Golobart, Abian
Serrano (both Las Palmas, undisclosed), Hendry Thomas (Deportivo
Olimpia, undisclosed), Scott Sinclair (Chelsea, loan). Outs: Antonio Valencia (Man Utd, L18m), Lee Cattermole (Sunderland, L6m), Daniel Barrie, Aidan Kirkbride (Hyde United, free), Lewis Montrose (Wycombe, free), Henri Camara, Andrew Pearson, Antoine Sibierski (all released).
Happy with your summer's work? I don't believe we've made enough proven signings that can help us maintain our Premier League status. We've signed two players from Swansea (and Espanyol) - Jordi Gomez and Jason Scotland, who are both unproven in the Premiership.
How's the boss doing? It's too early to tell about Roberto Martinez at this stage. His record at Swansea was very good, but he is an unknown quantity at the highest level of English domestic football. I think he will get quite a lot of support from the fans having been a Wigan old boy.
Boo boy? Antonio Valencia. Even though we did get a reported L16 million for him he still did join United.
Top four in order? Liverpool, Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal.
Relegated? Stoke, Wolves, Burnley.
Where will you finish? My heart says 10th, but my head says 16th.
Ins: Kevin Doyle (Reading, L6.5m), Nenad Milijas (Red Star Belgrade, L2.5m), Ronald Zubar (Marseille, L2.5m), Greg Halford (Sunderland, L2m), Andrew Surman (Southampton, L1m), Marcus Hanhemann (Reading, free).
Outs: Stephen Gleeson (Milton Keynes Dons, undisclosed), Lewis Gobern (Milton Keynes Dons, free), Darren Potter (Sheffield Wednesday, free), Matt Bailey, Alex Melbourne (both released).
Happy with your summer's work? I'm a bit worried about the signings, the fans were hoping for new signings with a lot of Premiership experience.
How's the boss doing? Mick McCarthy is doing well. He has managed to hang on to our talented young players that could have been tempted away to established Premiership teams.
Player to watch? Michael Kightly.
Boo boy? Henri Camara, left Wolves because he wanted to play in the Premiership and has never done any good.
Top four in order? Chelsea, Arsenal, United, Liverpool.
Relegated? Burnley, Hull and Wigan.
Where will you finish? 15th, fingers crossed.
