Italian champions Inter Milan have reportedly opened talks over a £25million deal for West Ham striker Carlos Tevez.
The Argentine superstar scored six goals in nine games in the Premiership run-in and almost single-handedly kept the Hammers in the top-flight, much to the anger of the 'Gang of Four' - Wigan, Fulham, Sheffield United and Charlton - who claim his signing breached Premier League rules.
His superb recent form has made him one of the most sought after forwards in Europe and subsequently he's been linked with a whole host of clubs, including Spanish sides Real Madrid and Sevilla.
However, according to The Daily Express Inter are now the front-runners with their president Massimo Moratti having opened talks with Kia Joorabchian, the man who represents Tevez.
The 23-year-old Argentina star insists he wants to remain a Hammers player, but Sunday's 1-0 win over Manchester United, in which he scored the crucial winning goal, looks to have been his last game for the club.
