The January transfer window is open since a week and a big Club like FC Barcelona is always in the headlines of the press when it comes to transfer rumours. Who is leaving and who is coming to the Blaugrana? Have a look what certain papers in and out of the country suggest.

Xavi - From FC Barcelona to Manchester United
Catalan daily paper "SPORT" reported that Manchester United are interested in the services of the Spanish international and Barca midfielder Xavi Hernandez. Sport suggested that after being 10 years at the Club, he could be up for a new challenge. Additionally, Xavi is sharing his spot in the starting line up with in form midfielder Andres Iniesta, a situation that is uncomfortable for Xavi who held an undisputed regular spot alongside Deco in the Blaugrana midfield in the last successful years.
The rumours say, that Manchester United´s coach Sir Alex Ferguson has got the Barca star on top of his wishlist for the season 2007-08. Ferguson believes that Man U are able to land Xavi from Barcelona, especially when Frank Lampard of Chelsea will join the European Champions.
Another bait could be inform Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo, who could leave Old Trafford for Camp Nou ion an exchange deal.

FC Barcelona Blog: With Owen Hargreaves from Bayern Munich not going to Manchester United it might be that Sir Alex is turning to other quality midfielder in Europe, but we will not see "Fat Franky" arriving at Camp Nou and Xavi leaving anywhere! May be Cristiano Ronaldo plus a substantial amount of cash could make Barca´s technical staff think. Still, I doubt it!

Carlos Diogo - From Real Madrid (on loan to Real Zaragoza) to FC Barcelona

FC Barcelona are reportedly interested in Real Zaragoza´s right back and part time boxer Carlos Diogo. The Real Madrid player, on loan to Real Zaragoza this season, has shown some great performances this season but also proved his qualities as a boxer with a killer punch. Diogo has been in the news recently for that infamous fist-fight with Sevilla´s Luis Fabiano, with both having been banned for 5 matches.
However, his performances for Real Zaragoza have been excellent and therefore FC Barcelona could be interested in him immediately, when Barca right full back Belletti should move to AC Milan.
It is rumoured that Real Zaragoza has got an option to buy the Uruguayan international Diogo for € 4 mill. from the Merengues and in the case of Belletti´s transfer Barca would want Real Zaragoza to exercise the option and immediately sell him for a profit to the Spanish Champions.

FC Barcelona Blog: I guess this is a little bit of a fairy tale but I would like to see the faces of the Merengues when another Real reject would join Barca and perform brilliantly at the Camp Nou!

Andreas Laudrup - From Lyngby BK to FC Barcelona

Former Barca star Michael Laudrup's sons Andreas and Mads Laudrup are on trial with the Blaugrana at La Masia. FC Barcelona have been following the boys´ progress and seem to be pleased with their development.

FC Barcelona Blog: Due to the fact that both player´s have not broken in to the first team squads of their Danish Clubs FC Copenhagen and Lyngby BK, the talneted youngster are probably a case for the Barca B team at the moment. If they have inherited the talent of their father Michael Laudrup, who was part of the dream team and won 4 straight Spanish Championship titles and a European Cup with Barca, I am sure that they will be prospects for the future.

Lilian Thuram - From FC Barcelona to Olympique Marseille
French reports are speculating about Barca´s French veteran defender thuram moving to Olympique Marseille. Thuram who joined FC barcelona from Juventus after the world cup has been subject to suggestions that the Barca player could be unhappy with a lack of first team action.

FC Barcelona Blog: Thuram can not be unhappy about the lack of first team football. Unfortunately in the moment he was needed, he got injured and is out for about 10 matches alltogether. For sure he is not thinking of leaving before the summer.

The Barcelona midfielder, who has a good scoring record against Espanyol, is doubtful for Saturday's derby clash in Montujic, after pulling a muscled while training separately with Ronaldinho yesterday, when the rest of the team were in Alaves for the Copa del Rey last sixteen clash.

The 30-year-old missed today's training, and is awaiting the results of the scans carried out by the Barca medical team.

Andres Iniesta also missed the training session due to a foot injury picked up in yesterday's win, though it is just said to be a bad bruise. Meanwhile, former Monaco players Rafael Marquez and Ludovic Giuly exercised separately in the gym as a precaution.

However, there was also some good news for the defending champions, with Zambrotta and Oleguer likely to return to the squad for Saturday's game after missing the trip to Alaves.

Zambrotta has been out of action since Barcelona's return from Japan, while Oleguer has missed the two games this year due to a knee problem. However, both trained normally today, as did Ronaldinho.

El Manchester United estaría dispuesto a aceptar un trueque Xavi-Cristiano Ronaldo para la próxima temporada, según informa hoy el diario británico 'Daily Mirror', aunque su prioridad sea retener al portugués al precio que sea.

Ante la insistencia del presidente del FC Barcelona, Joan Laporta, por fichar a Cristiano Ronaldo, el club inglés sólo aceptaría un posible traspaso con la inclusión en el mismo del centrocampista Xavi Hernández, muy bien visto por el técnico de los 'red devils', Alex Ferguson, por su condición de excelente organizador del juego del equipo.

Pese a que el técnico del Barça, Frank Rijkaard, no considera prioritario el fichaje del delantero del United, el interés del presidente azulgrana vendría dado, según el 'Daily Mirror', por la necesidad de contar con una nueva figura mediática, tras la negativa del francés Thierry Henry, del Arsenal, de vestirse de azulgrana el pasado verano.

1968 Barcelona i Madridski Real su se susreli u finalu Kupa koji je održan u Madridu.
Barcelona je pobijedila s 1-0 i osvojila Kup,nakon što je utakmica završila ljutiti navijači 
Madridskog kluba su počeli bacati boce na igrače gostujučeg kluba,pobijednička 
ceremonija je otpala. Od tog dana je zabranjeno unošenje na španjolske stadione 
staklene boce.Nakon poraza predsjednik Reala Santiago Bernabeu je hvalio je 
Baceloninog gradskog rivala  Español  Barcelonu s tom  činjenicom da klub u 
Kataloniji nosi ime Español i mnogo drugih uvreda upučeni prema Barceloni.
Español  predstavlja Španjolsku Barcelonu,rivalstvo se smanjilo kad je Español 
promijenio ime na Espanyol.

Daniel Alves Barca's Top Priority Sevilla's Daniel Alves has reportedly been marked out by the Catalan giants as their top priority for the summer.

Barcelona were already interested in Alves last year, and a summer bid was on the cards. However, they eventually went for Zambrotta, with Alves attracting interest from Liverpool, Real Madrid and Chelsea.

The situation at the Nou Camp has changed following Juliano Belletti's departure, and Rijkaard has supposedly given Txiki Begiristain the nod to approach the player's agent.

Barca are looking to bring in a top right-back in the summer, and shift Zambrotta back to the left. Gio and Sylvinho have both signed extensions, but rumours suggest that it was done only to ensure that their performance levels did not drop due to anxiety. One of them is expected to depart in the summer.

Chelsea, Real Madrid and Liverpool are all set to bid strong for him, but Barcelona are apparently prepared to compete, and break the bank, for whom they consider to be the best young right-back in the world.

Sevilla president Del Nido demanded 18 million Euros from Benitez last summer, and the price is likely to go up to at least 20 in the face of interest from Europe's best. Barcelona are hoping that an offer involving young right-back Damia Abella could place them better compared to their competitors.

Reprezentativci svjetskog prvaka Italije i igrači europskog i španjolskog prvaka Barcelone dominiraju u najboljoj momčadi 2006. godine koja je izabrana u internetskoj anketi Europske nogometne federacije (UEFA)

U idealnom sastavu prošle godine su kapetan 'Azzurra' Fabio Cannavaro, branič Gianluca Zambrotta, te vratar Gianluigi Buffon. Zambrotta je ujedno i jedan od četvorice igrača Barcelone koji su u sastavu. Mjesto u najboljoj momčadi izborili su i Ronaldinho, Samuel Eto'o i Charles Puyol. Za najboljeg trenera godine izabran šef stručnog stožera Barcelone Frank Rijkaard.
