Ivan Cvjetković(Mandžukić-ev menadžer): "Mario je sretan i ostaje u Bayern-u!"

U posljednje su se vrijeme razno razni mediji raspisali o tome da bi hrvatski reprezentativac Mario Mandžukić mogao potražiti drugi klub, jer navodno nije zadovoljan tretmanom kod novog Bayernovog trenera Pepa Guardiole. Roma se spominjala kao jedna od opcija.

- Kontakta s Romom nije bilo. To su sve glasine u kojima nema ni najmanje istine. Nema šanse da Mario ove sezone napusti redove Bayerna. Osjeća se dobro i sretan je u Njemačkoj – rekao je Cvjetković.

Mandžukić je u novoj sezoni dosada odigrao dvije službene utakmice, no zasada se još nije upisao u strijelce.

• Manager Guardiola will make his Bundesliga debut and probably start with a fluid 4-3-3 or 4-1-4-1 system.
• If Javi Martínez starts in midfield rather than at centre-back, Jerome Boateng could get a chance to play alongside Dante.

• After a disappointing first season at Gladbach, Granit Xhaka will start in central midfield and most likely play a more important role in their build-up.
• New signings Raffael and Max Kruse will probably start up front together, with Luuk de Jong being the first option from the bench.

• Bayern start the new campaign with their new manager Pep Guardiola and the mission of defending their treble. A new system and a number of players playing in different positions to last season could mean that the team will need some time to find consistency.
• Gladbach signed Raffael and Max Kruse to add much-needed creativity and allow manager Favre to play more attack-minded football again. The players shouldn't need a lot of time to settle in and the "Fohlenelf" look much stronger than last season.
• Expect Bayern to dominate the game from the outset and Gladbach to try to play on the break after Bayern lose the ball. The Bavarians' new system has led to slight defensive problems in pre-season after all.
