Welcome Riccardo. Tell us about how you started your career at Bayern Monaco

I started playing football in the small country club, FC Halte Haide, when I was just 5 years. After only a few months, I moved to Schwabing Schwabing 56 FC, another club that was close to home. The first team that I have noticed, shortly afterwards, was the 1860 Monaco, who has noticed my potential. I decided with my parents to take that road and I was with them for four years. Are joined Bayern in 2005 alone, a big step for me towards the professional football: and I am very happy with my decision.

Tell us about your relationship with Italy

We are very close, my father is Italian. I come very often to Italy to spend my holidays. What I like most? Certainly the food, which is incredibly good. Then, surely, even football, which I think is very high level. Compared to Germany ... yes, there are beautiful beaches, the people are very friendly and the weather is fantastic.

And Monaco, for football, is a special environment ...

Yes, it is true. I have often been in the youth of Bayern captain and this is a big challenge. Especially playing with older people and teams very prepared. But it is in these situations that I can understand my level and constantly improve in my play.

What are your dreams for the future?

My greatest wish is of course to be able to play at the highest level. I'd like to become a champion, an example to follow for every person who has the same dream that I have.
