Newcastle United have revealed their pre-season friendlies in preparation for their first season in the second tier in 16 years.
The Magpies will travel to Ireland to face Shamrock Rovers on 11 July, and then play Scottish Premier League side Dundee United on 2 August.
In between are trips to League One outfit Huddersfield, managed by former player Lee Clark, and Darlington.
League One side Leeds United provide the only home opposition, on 29 July.
Last season Newcastle welcomed Spanish side Valencia and Dutch club PSV Eindhoven to St James' Park.
