RYSA Player Jason James Heads to Europe
One of our recent U-18 Richmond United (Metro) 2011 grads, Jason James, is on his way to Europe on Monday October 24 to play professional soccer for Inter Zapresic.
Inter Zaprešić is a Croatian football club based in Zaprešić, a town northwest of the capital Zagreb originally founded in 1929
Jason played his youth soccer in Richmond and during Jason's 2009/2010 season he attended a scouting trip to play for Serie A Club Udinese. Having reached his 18th birthday this month, Jason can now pursue his life long dream to play professional soccer. For the 2010/2011 season, Jason was the recipient of the RYSA Patrice Sarazan Award, given to the Most Valuable Metro Soccer player in Richmond.
Not only is Jason a tremendous player he is an excellent young man who is both humble and cares for the people around him.
