Wolves are delighted to announce the signing of top Serbian international midfielder Nenad Milijaš.
The 26-year-old has agreed to become Wolves'
first capture of the summer after joining from Red Star Belgrade for an
undisclosed fee.
He has put pen to paper on a four-year contract to join Wolves, subject to receiving a work permit.
Nenad, who stands at 6ft 2in tall, is an
established Serbian international who has played a major part in his
country's impressive World Cup qualifying campaign for South Africa
next year.
He was also named Serbian Superliga Player of the Year last season.
"We're really thrilled to have started our summer recruitment with Nenad Milijaš," said Wolves CEO Jez Moxey.
"Nenad is a star player and an international of some note in what is a very talented Serbian team.
"He
scored 16 goals from 30-odd games for Red Star Belgrade last season
from central midfield and is also a physical presence who can play in a
variety of different positions as well as being left-footed which gives
the team more balance.
"He's got plenty of experience but also at 26 years old is in the prime of his career.
"This is a big signing for us and we are absolutely delighted with it."
