Danas u 18 Zagreb - Partizan na Velesajmu. Ako ste se malo zaželjeli najbrže igre na svijetu uživo ne bi bilo loše doći pogledat. Partizan jači po igračima, Zagreb nakon pobjede protiv C Zvezde prošli tjedan traži nove bodove u Panonskoj lizi.

kaj stvarno vise niko ne prati domaci hokej?
Medvescak danas igra protiv olimpije za ulaz u finale slovenskog prvenstva, pred potpisom je ugovora sa austrijskom ligom, a osim toga imaju u planu povecanje budzeta na 2M eura te pozivanje kanadskih i americkih igraca hrvatskih korijena..pretpostavljam da bi se to vrlo pozitivno moglo odraziti na reprezentaciju

Konačno da se pokrenuo i hokej u Hrvatskoj,nadam se da će dobiti.

Ok, i would like to start a new topic but i´m not allowed to do this so I must i use this Thread because I do have Question to the hockeyfans and experts on this board .

1. Team in question would undoubtedly be Medveščak.

2. They are by far the best and the most professional club in Croatia.  This season they competed as guests in the Slovenian national league, and took third place after playoffs (not sure where they were on the table after regular season).  I believe, though I'm not sure, that they were only behind Jesenice and Olimpija.  Hopefully, this gives you an idea about the club's strength and budget...  Also, could give you an idea about question number 5.

3. So it would not be a precedent if they competed in the Austrian league next year.  As a matter of fact, another two clubs from Zagreb, "Mladost" and "Zagreb" played in the Panonian league - a league with seven clubs from Serbia and Croatia (though I believe Hungarian clubs used to take part as well in past seasons).  So for the fans (and how many of those are there any more, really??), this would be commonplace.

4. All in all, there's no more than 5 or 6 ice hockey clubs in Croatia, all of which but one are located in Zagreb.  The remaining one is INA from Sisak.  I don't believe these clubs have produced any players of any international fame (someone better informed can correct me if I am wrong).  Most of the star players, and even coaches, are imports (Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic; every now and then USA or Canada).  However, we in Croatia proudly stake the claim to none other than Joe Sakic, due to his Croatian family origin.
