uz ovako losu cibonu koja je bez perspektive da sljedece godine sastavi stvarno jaku ekipu koja bi se mogla borit za regonalni i eurocup trofej ne vidim nikakav nacin kako da Saric sljedece godine u ovo doba ne bude u sastavu neke NBA ekipe....

Dario Saric (6’10”, PF, 1994, Croatia, Cibona)

Saric is showing remarkable consistency in his performances through the first part of the 2013/2014 season, which will probably lead to his declaration into 2014 NBA draft (according to the player his buyout is 1.2 million). The Croatian forward is collecting strong stats, and playing on a consistent basis as the starting PF for Cibona Zagreb, both in ABA League and Eurocup competitions. But the issues regarding the transition of his game to the NBA level remain the same: he’s still a tweener, without a precise role among the two forward spots. He’s really effective in transition game, exploiting his superior ball handling skills and mobility, but he struggles in half-court game when he has to beat the defender from the dribble, since he lacks the necessary first step and explosiveness. His ability to play as a point forward could led to a tactical role in NBA, but this transition will be bonded to a better consistency of his outside shot (less than 30% from 3 points this season). He’s averaging 13.3 points and 7 rebounds in ABA league.

nije on nikakav tweener...on u NBA ligi MORA igrati PF jer bi stvarno bilo besmisleno forsirati ga na SF (to je pozicija koju Dario može odigrati u Europi, ali nikako u Americi)

nije Dario slab, a i još će on ojačati...NBA teretane (i sve što ide uz to) čine čuda 

na SF su igrači koji "lete" po terenu, nema Dario fizičke predispozicije (brzinu, prvi korak...) za to...pogledajte Duranta, Georgea, LeBrona, Mela, Batuma...

Autor članka je u pravu, Dario nema neku strogo definiranu ulogu na krilu. Ne sviđa mi se ta isključivost i podcjenjivanje kada se razgovara o Dariu. Pa što ako nije brz kao neki igrači koji su ovdje navedeni, na krilnom centru će njegove igračke vrline ostati neiskorištene, hrvajući se sa drugim četvorkama ispod koša. 

Šut je najproblematičniji aspekt njegove igre, pogotovo sa distance, sa pravilnim radom može se donekle ispraviti. Tendencija skupljanja naivnih prekršaja također je problematična, događa se vjerojatno zbog neiskustva.

Meni to nije jasno. On je sad po meni potpuno definiran. To što 5 napada u utakmici odigra na trici nije loše nego naprotiv. A i ovo za šut. On ima 6/19 za tri kombinirano u ABA-i i Eurocupu. Na eurobasketu je imao 40%.
Vjerujem da je autor pisao review prije neke od zadnjih utakmica kad je možda imao npr 5/16. To je samo jedan šut ispod šuta od 33 % što se smatra odličnim. Ako si jedan šut ispod toga, nikako ne možeš biti loš, nego solidan. Gledao sam, janning, navarro, Nachbar - svi imaju lošiju tricu od  Daria ove sezone. Ovo da od Eurobasketa ima tricu oko 33% je isto "remarkable consistency".

On mora prvenstveno popraviti šut s poluodstojanja. Tu vidim kod svakog njegovog šuta, nesigurnost. Kao da već unaprijed razmišlja, kako će promašiti i treba li opće pucati. Kada to popravi, jako teško će ga se moći čuvati. Tada će mu protivnik morati prići, a onda će doći do izražaja, njegov prodor, licem prema košu, što mu je najjača strana (zasada).

a koje su to po tebi njegove glavne igračke vrline...on ima odličan "ball handling" za svoju visinu i poziciju, ali nadam se da ne očekuješ da bi trebao igrati nekakvog playa ili "point forwarda" u NBA 

ja smatram da će biti puno bolje iskorišten bliže košu nego da trči kroz blokove (bilo u obrani ili u napadu)
