I told many people that I spoke with in the city that the only thing I can promise is that I will fight every night to make them excited to support us again! What I didn’t know was that in the next few months, I would see a city burn with desire to support their team like I have never seen before! The fans of zadar showed me a side of basketball that I dreamed about growing up as a kid! Playing in front of all of you has literally been the best experience of fan support I have ever had in my career. And for that, I say thank you! I will never forget that, and the city of Zadar will always have a special place in my heart!
Unfortunately professional sports always has 2 sides; the sport and the business! I know everyone won’t understand that, and some will love me and some will hate me. But that’s ok, I accept it all. I made a decision that was best for my family. And my family will always come first.
But I read something that a fan said about my situation and it is very true....”people come and go, but Zadar lives forever”
Yes I am leaving zadar, but the fire and passion of this city will live on!
