What Nikos Stavropoulos feared proved to be unsubstantiated during the game of the Greek National Team against Turkey. The Greek team got an easy win with 79-58 and are now a major candidate for the semifinals.
The Greek team playing focused and with determination took an early lead in the score which was maintained throughout the game. The key factor however, that actually gave the Greek team the victory was the very good defense played on Engin Atsor, the Turkish team's star player, who, although the only Turkish player having scored more than nine points, was still effectively contained. Schortsianitis and Vassilopoulos were the best players for the Greeks, while Vassiliadis was a problem issue with his bad scoring percentages.

Interesantno da Omerhodzic ima drugi najbolji tendex iza Pasalica, a da skoro uopce ne ulazi. Ok, ostvario ga je za puno manje vrijeme pa nije usporediv sa igracima koji su puno vise igrali, al sigurno bi mogao koju minutu dobit
