Mohammad El Akkari led Moutahed to a 173-141 victory over Bejjeh in a
Division A league game on Tuesday. He scored 32 3-pointers in 59
attempts and was 40-for-69 overall from the floor. He only had one free
throw.
The 27-year-old Akkari entered the game averaging only 7.6 points and 19.2 minutes of playing time in 23 games this season.

My friends told me about this yesterday, apparently the opposing team (Bejjeh) is having financial issues, plus theyre getting relegated to the 2nd division by next season. So the players didnt show up for the game in order to protest not getting their paychecks on time
. They played scrubs and youngsters (players of ages 17,18). Now the other team started with their normal lineup, this dude comes off the bench (his sole job on the floor is to chuck 3's) and scores 4 or 5 consecutive threes. Overjoyed, he asked his coach to play him the entire game, so he played with scrubs vs. scrubs lol. They say he didnt get back on D, just stood at the 3point line and shot the ball. Also, they had the height advantage (imagine pro players vs 17yr olds), so each time he missed they gave him back the ball at the same spot. His team's center had 18 ASSISTS ffs...
I hope this clears everything out.. I dont know what they were thinking to be honest
. This is really bad for the lebanese league (which is surprisingly good, a lebanese club is the reigning Asian champ).
Peace.
