Phil Jackson believes LeBron James needs to find another level for the Cavaliers to climb out of their Finals hole, much like Michael Jordan did 23 years prior.
Speaking on a stage with Shaquille O'Neal on Monday, Jackson recalled how Jordan, trailing the 1993 Eastern Conference finals 0-2 to the Knicks, was motivated by a New York Times article negatively reporting on his off-day trip to an Atlantic City casino. The Bulls won four straight after the article ran, with Jordan averaging 32.2 points for the series. Jackson compared it to James' situation with Game 3 on Wednesday in Cleveland.
