The NBA unveiled a new format for the Skills Challenge that will feature three teams of three players competing in a four-round competition that tests shooting, passing and dribbling ability.
The three teams will compete in the first three rounds. The two teams with the most points after the first three rounds will advance to the final round. Points are earned by winning each of the first three rounds, which includes shooting, passing and team relay.
The final round will consist of making half-court shots in the fastest time.
The 3 teams set to compete in the Skills Challenge
- Antetokounmpos: Alex Antetokounmpo (Raptors 905), Giannis Antetokounmpo and Thanasis Antetokounmpo.
- Cavs: Jarrett Allen, Darius Garland and Evan Mobley
- Rooks: Scottie Barnes, Cade Cunningham and Josh Giddey
