I ti to tako kažeš nakon manjeg broja NBA tekmi s ograničenom minutažom prošle sezone i nekoliko ovih presezonskih?

Mislim da on neće biti "promašaj", samo je pitanje kako ce ga uklopiti.

The Rockets are reportedly unwilling to include P.J. Tucker in a trade that would net them Jimmy Butler.

Minnesota reportedly reached out to Houston on Tuesday morning after Miami deal fell through, and they are reportedly seeking a package that would include Eric Gordon, Tucker and some draft picks. As of right now, Miami and Houston appear to be the frontrunners in the Butler sweepstakes, and it sounds like they're playing hardball, as Minnesota has very little leverage.

All-Star Jimmy Butler participated in Minnesota's practice, a session that included him verbally challenging teammates, coaches and front office, league sources told ESPN. Butler was vociferous and emotional at times, targeting Thibodeau/Layden/Towns/Wiggins.

 

At one point in a scrimmage, sources said, Butler turned to GM Scott Layden and screamed, "You (bleeping) need me. You can't win without me." Butler left teammates and coaches largely speechless. He dominated the gym in every way. Jimmy's back.

The Timberwolves cancelled Thursday's practice and will not have media availability.

We can't imagine why... In all seriousness, the Wolves became a national embarrassment after Jimmy Butler showed up at his first practice of 2018-19 on Wednesday and proceeded to beat the first team with third-stingers. Maybe his outburst will force Minnesota's hand in trade talks, but they'll have to lower expectations after turning down an offer from the Heat that included Josh Richardson.

Znači Minnesota bi trebala spustiti očekivanja nakon što su odbili ponudu Miamija koji im je "velikodušno" nudio prosječnog igrača rotacije (Richardsona) za Top 10 igrača lige (Butlera)  47

 

Nekako mi se čini da je tamo sve podređeno velikim/zanimljivim tržištima i da cjelokupna mašinerija (mediji, menadžeri) navlači za te franšize.

 

Hard cap bi ovo dobrim dijelom riješio, i stvorio određeni paritet, barem je tako u NFL i NHL ligama.

Vidim da svi pričaju o tome kako LeBron u Lakersima nema šutere i da kako će tako igrat. E sad... Prvo, lani je kao u Cavsima ima šutere pa mu baš nije pomoglo. Drugo, ti šuteri u Cavsima su isto malo imaginarni, npr. Green 31% trice, TT (ne puca trice), Corver (rezerva, a kolko god dobar bija ga se znalo i zatvorit), da novopridošle nakon all star prekida ne spominjem...

Treće, u Lakersima situacija sa šuterima ipak nije tako loša: Ingram 39% lani, Hart 40% (iako je rezerva), Kuzma 36% (prosjek, ali možda to digne, a i prosjek je ipak okej donekle), KCP 38%, Beasley 39%... dobro, Lonzo i Rondo ništa (iako je Rondo na malom uzorku ima čak 42% u playoffu zadnjem). Ali ono, imaš 5 okej šutera + LeBrona. Jesan li ja lud ili šta?

A očito je da plan nije da igraju ka Cavsi s LeBronovim ulascima i kickovima na tricu nego što više na tranziciju i brzinu te više plejmejkera da ne mora LeBron sve sam igrat kao u Cavsima.

Ma ovo bi trebala biti lipa sezona za Lakerse. Imaju najboljeg igraca na svitu i Kuzmu,Jamesa, Ingrama, Ronda. 

Lipa baza.
