Gaz Metan Medias is a good team from our championship. They also play in the Europa League, they eliminated KuPS from Finland and after that they manage to obtain a good result in Mainz (1-1), so you can't say that Varteks Varazdin is a European giant regarding Medias.

He said it because of Varteks history in European competitions, they eliminated Aston Villa, not because of current squad. as much as I would wish Varteks to win on Thursday, it will be mission impossible, but this young Varteks squad is playing unpredictable football. So we hope that Varteks could snatch a draw or even a victory against stronger Dynamo Bucuresti side.

all i can tell you is that our team is very self-confident and the majority of fans here reckon varaždin will progress.

Our guys are also very confindent that Dinamo will win the secound match with Varteks Varazdin. The president of our club predicted a 3-0 victory for Dinamo Bucharest in Croatia.

I only hope that the Thursday's match will bring joy and happiness to all Dinamo's fans.

Rapid is the the third important club from Bucharest, after Dinamo and Steaua. They have won the title only four times. To compare, Dinamo has 18 national titles in Romania.
