[QUOTE] SWEDEN STARS TIPPED TO BE FIT
Sweden are confident niggling back injuries to two of their key players will clear up in time for the visit of Hungary in Saturday''s World Cup qualifier.
New Juventus striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Arsenal midfielder Fredrik Ljungberg have both been suffering with a similar complaint but team doctor Magnus Forssbblad has dismissed worries about the duo''s fitness for this weekend''s crucial game.
Of Ljungberg, Forssbblad said: "He still has some pain in his back, but he will for sure play on Saturday."
Ibrahimovic''s strain is slightly more serious, but Forssbblad was equally confident about the star striker''s chances of playing.
"Zlatan has had a massage for his back but he will also be in the starting team on Saturday."
Defeat in their last match against Group 8 leaders Croatia means Sweden cannot afford to drop any more points against a Hungarian side buoyant after coming from behind to beat Iceland 3-2 in their last match.
Defender Laszlo Eger is likely to make his Hungary debut on Saturday for Lothar Matthaus'' men after being named in place of the injured Roland Juhasz.
Hertha Berlin midfielder Pal Dardai could also be given a start after a six-month absence following a falling-out with Matthaeus.
For Sweden, it looks like Southampton''s utility player Mikael Nilsson will take the injured Tottenham player Erik Edman''s place at left-back.
Ibrahimovic should resume his fruitful partnership with Barcelona''s Henrik Larsson, and he is predicting Sweden''s opponents will be looking to play for a draw.
"We will probably play a very defensive Hungary, which means that we must attack on the wings and with many players," he said.
"Sweden are today a more attacking team than before."
