Real Sociedad have submitted a formal offer of roughly €3.7 million for Arsenal striker, Carlos Vela, who has expressed his desire to stay with San Sebastian club.

Vela was a breakout star for Real Sociedad, scoring 12 goals in 35 appearances for the club, and for a cash-strapped club like Sociedad, that transfer fee is a major investment.

Real Mallorca have agreed a deal to sign former Atletico Madrid captain Antonio Lopez on an initial two-year contract.

Espanyol have officially announced the first signing of the summer of former Deportivo La Coruna defender, Diego Colotto.

The 31-year-old was brought in on the express wishes of manager Mauricio Pochettino, who hopes that Colotto’s experience and skill will bolster his squad’s defense, who allowed 56 goals last season.

Colotto made 77 apperances for Deportivo, and prior to that played with Estudiantes de La Plata, Tecos and Atlas.

 
Osasuna confirmed the signing of midfielder, Sisinio “Sisi” Gonzalez to a three-year deal on a free transfer from Valladolid.

Osasuna are hoping that the addition of Sisi will replace last season’s leading goal scorer midfielder, Raul Garcia, who spent the season in Pamplona on loan from Atletico Madrid.

Atletico Madrid have signed veteran defender Cata Diaz for €1 millionfrom Getafe.

The experienced Argentine centre-back has signed a two-year deal with the Europa League winners after ending a five-year spell with fellow La Liga side Getafe.

Diaz, joined Getafe from Boca Juniors in 2007 after playing all of his early career in his home country. He made over 160 appearances for Getafe and has been capped by Argentine on 12 occasions.
