HEAVIEST PENALISED(AGI) - Rome, 5th February - Juventus is in
first place with 54 points,
Roma second with 52, Inter third with 47 followed by
Milan, Fiorentina Atalanta Reggina, Samp, Napoli and Lazio tenth with 28 points.
This is the league tamble in the VirtualClass on its 21st round "cleansed" of
the "tricks of the eyesight" affecting our referees, as drawn up the the
Watchdog on referees' errors, which in its previous reports had helf from
Adiconsum. In goal/no goal situations - the report says - virtually 156 points
were re-alocated: benefiting Inter (+6 points), damaging Juve (-13), Reggina
(-12), Milan (-7), Roma (-7) and Lazio (-5). According to Make Tailored
Advertising the results of 108 matches were 'falsified' by these goal/no goal
refereeing mistakes (52 percnet of the total), which is much worse than last
year's league, where 'bad' results stood at 41 percent. In these VirtualClass
analyses, 31 referees have so far been studied. Of these, a good 27 (87 percent)
made goal-no goal type errors, having refereed an average of 7.6 matches each.
The four who made no errors, were given only a total of 5 matches. This means,
according to analysis results, that winnings on the football pools have been
falsified, as well as other forms of betting on football, for a sum approaching
70 million euro. 16 teams out of 20 (80 percent) have point tallies different to
the actual league tables, with the main advantage going
to Inter and Udinese who
should lose 6 points, Torino with 5 points too many, Fiorentina with 3 and Genoa
and Palermo with 2. The Virtual League table re-awards 13 points to Juve, 12 to
Reggina, 7 to Milan and Roma and 5 to Lazio.
