Samo jedna kratka priča o navijaču Liverpoola na koju sam naišao, čovjek nije propustio utakmicu u Engleskoj od 1975. i nijedno europsko gostovanje od 1980. Sada mu je najveća opasnost da se tradicija prekine, problem je pošto su zatvoreni aerodromi kako stići do Madrida i onda se što prije vratiti da bi stigao na tekmu protiv Burnleya za vikend.
Nebitno o kojem se klubu radi, stvarno ljubav prema klubu nema granica.


O brave decedents of Shanks Red Army, I salute you in your tireless efforts to make it to Madrid…. (are you daft? Were do you get the cash and the spare time!?)…The away fan ban at Luton didn’t stop you.....getting to Istanbul didn’t stop you….and now mother nature and the ‘man’ at the airlines won’t stop you….but spare a thought for one brave soul…my mate Dave…who has decided to go all  the way on his own, Liverpool to London by car then train all the way to Madrid, requiring non stop travel…but!...he will make it!....and then non stop train all the way back…arriving London 9:30 Sunday morning….requiring  a dash up the M1 and M6 to Burnley….but for Dave this trip carries a heavy but unavoidable risk, because failure to make it back in time may result in him missing the Burnley game….not too much a price to pay you think? But for Dave its an unbearable thought…if he misses it will mean the first time he has missed a first team game in the UK since boxing day 1975!!..( meaning  approximately 2,000 plus consecutive games attended)…he could decide to miss Madrid but that would mean missing his first European game away since 1980!.........if he misses both, expect  a bigger volcanic eruption than the one in Iceland somewhere between Madrid and London
