Darko Lazovic Set To Join Tottenham
The young Serb could be set for a move to north London, according to media reports in England.

After a trial at Tottenham Hotspur last month, reports in England are indicating that Serbian starlet Darko Lazovic, not to be confused with his countryman Danko of the same surname, could be set for a move to White Hart Lane.

The 18-year-old is a playmaking midfielder who has already starred for his nation's senior international side, and it is thought that a transfer fee of around £500,000 should be enough to prise him away from Serbian outfit FK Borac Cacak.

Now British newspaper The Independent is reporting today that the move looks likely to happen soon, after the youngster impressed observers at Spurs.

"As far as I know, he got the thumbs up in Tottenham and at the moment he is the one to decide what would be the best for him at this stage," the broadsheet reports Borac coach Ljubisa Dmitrovic as saying.

The youngster himself, who only made his senior club debut in March of last year before making his senior international bow against Poland in a friendly in December, also had a trial with Bundesliga outfit Hertha Berlin, and is keeping his feet firmly in the floor as rumours of his move begin to gather momentum.

"I will wait in order to decide what is best for me," Lazovic told The Independent.
