Former Black Stars centre back Lee Addy is excited about progressing to the next qualifying stage of the Uefa Champions League and believes his club can go all the way to win it.


The Dinamo Zagreb defender played 90 minutes as his side won 1-0 against FC Sheriff of Romania. Even though the Croatian club is yet to make it into the group stages, Addy is confident of a sterling finish in the competition.


"Playing in the Champions League is another level altogether. For me everything went on well yesterday and we came out victorious," he tells Citi Sports.

The player first played for Zagreb in late March after joining them on loan from Chinese club Dalian Aerbin in February and quickly stated his dream to win laurels with the Croat giants.

"Every club's ambition is to get into the tournament and take the Cup but you have to fight very hard. Our ambition now is to qualify for the group stages."


Lee Addy has not featured for the Black Stars since Afcon 2012 and he has said severally that this move to Croatia represents a chance for him to come into the frame for national team selection again.

Addy je imao je taj kiks na kraju (hvala Zeleniku sto je dobro reagirao), ali osim toga je bio vrlo dobar.   Rijesio je nekoliko situacije bas odlicno.  Djelio neke dobre lopte naprijed.   Sve-u-svemu vrlo dobra utakmica.

A njegov kiks nije nista losija od Simuniceva (gdje ga je spasio Sare).  To receno, to nebi smjelo desiti. 

Robi, ironiju cete ucit iduce godine iz hrvatskog.

evo primjer: na sljedecoj utakmici dodje 35 000 dinamovaca na stadion i sto radi? Samo suti, e, ono, GROMOGLASNA tisina, bez psovki, transparenata, vrijedjanja... i onda dodje TV, CNN, Al Jazeera, BBC i tako i pitaju "a sto je to bilo" i onda tih 35 000 dinamovaca kazu "smatramo da u radu gospodina Zdravka Mamica mozda ima nekoliko nepravilnosti i voljeli bismo da se to istrazi pred objektivnim i strucnim sudom"

e, to bi odjeknulo cijelim svijetom i g. Mamic bi se mozda zamislio

Ne,nego treba kampirati pod zapadom i pjevati mu uvredljive pjesmuljke,tada bi se Mamić zaista zamislio.
