sam sebi si odgovorio.... za mentalitet prosjecnog hrvatskog "big mouth" nogoloptaca su Talijani "sitne ribe", Francuze "smo imali u saci" (iako gotovo svaki put od njih gubimo), Spanjolci su "cigani i njih cemo lako", Meksikanci su vjerojatno "pickice" (iako smo prosli put dobili uvjerljivo po tintari od njih), Nijemci su domaci (treba li veci argument?), Brazil i Argentinu necu ni racunat i tko nam ostaje? ENGLEZI...

Jedina sansa da Englezi postanu momcad je da se rijese onog plejboja Erikssona, do tada su samo skup imena, nista vise... Engleze su u zadnjih par godina pobjedjivale i remizirale s njima i losije momcadi od Hrvatske... uostalom, ocito nisi vidio koga sam nam jos stavio u skupinu, tako da je svejedno tko je nositelj...

German football legend to draw teams for the final groups of 2006 World Cup

The success of Lothar Matthaus at the helm of Hungarian national team which for the first time in decades has a team that actually works together has proven that his time with Partizan Beograd in the Champions League a couple years ago was well deserved and that he’s now rightfully recognized as both great coach and former football star.

On Friday the 44 year old German will have the privilege to draw the teams for the final groups of the 2006 World Cup that is going to be held in his homeland next summer, so it’s not a surprise why that’s the main topic everyone want to talk with him about…

‘’Yes I am very excited about the draw and emotional as well because my Germany will be among the teams, then Italy for which I am tied by some nice memories as a player, England where I have a lot of friends and Argentina because of my friendship with Diego Maradona,’’ said the former Bayern Munchen captain and added:

‘’But when it comes to Serbia & Montenegro my heart will beat strong as well and if I don’t be distracted by something or someone I will pick out all the teams with my right hand except the ones from the pot with the Serbs where I will use the left so they know it’s from my heart.’’

Matthaus has started his coaching career in 2001 when he took over Rapid Vienna with whom he didn’t have a lot of success but upon taking over Partizan Beograd he succeeded to qualify them to the Champions League and break the deadlock for one Serbian team to enter that elite competition after over a decade. In 2003 Matthaus left the Blacks & Whites and took over Hungary.

At the post of the Hungarian national team he has created a solid team which if they had a little more luck there’s no doubt that they would be among the teams at the 2006 World Cup. But in the European Qualification Group 8 he failed to fight off Croatia and Sweden what at the end finished in Hungary being fourth with 14pts behind them and Bulgaria who had 15pts.

Still that he’s worth enough to remain at the post proves the fact that all the sport press and public plus the Football Association officials have literally begged him to stay and lead their national side in the qualifiers for Euro 2008.
