Hearts will take on Dynamo Zagreb (dates to be confirmed) in the UEFA Europa League Play-Off.
Dinamo are based in Croatia's capital city and are reportedly supported by more than a third of the population.
They will be formidable opponents for Hearts having won the Croatian
championship for the last four seasons. They have also won the Croation
Cup for the last three years. While their team is predominately
Croatian players, they also enjoy the services of Brazilian and
Argentinian players.
Dynamo are also experienced European campaigners having featured
every year for the last ten years in either Champions League or UEFA
Cup competition.
Last season they qualified for the UEFA Group stages having
dispatched Sparta Prague. Their group stage involved only one win
however against NEC with losses to Tottenham Hotspur (0-4), Spartak
Moscow (0-1) and Udinese (1-2).
Hearts fans will benefit from a stadium with a capacity of 38,983
allowing more chances to watch the team away in Europe than some of the
other possible opponents.
Manager Csaba Laszlo's view to the draw was swift and extremely positive.
"They area a very famous club but with the right preparation it is a game I believe we can win," he told
