Da srna vise igra a manje se svadi sa sucima i glumi po terenu i da mu dobar centarsut nije nepoznaat pojam, onda bi mozda bio za kadar reprezentacije. Srna non stop forsira neka ubacivanja, a pogodi jedan dobar centarsut svake 4 utakmice. O izvođenju kornera necu ni pricat.

He was asked about Mandžukić’s reaction after scoring against Sao Paulo. The Croatian forward,
who replaced Pizarro after the break, made a defiant gesture towards the bench: ‘Mandžukić is a
great penalty-box player, a great finisher. I didn’t notice any reaction after the goal.’
The coach’s relationship with Mandžukić has been tense for a couple of weeks. The Croatian
forward’s skills were highly prized by his team-mates, particularly his willingness to fight, press and
throw himself 100% into a game. This kind of aggression can have its down sides, though, and
whenever there was tension or any kind of a skirmish during training, Mandžukić was usually at the
centre of it. Guardiola and his coaching staff had doubts about the Croatian, although certainly not for
his playing style. They admired his finishing and all the work that he did for the team in the box, but
they worried about his constant raging against the world and his reluctance to learn a new style of
play.
Robert Lewandowski, Borussia Dortmund’s centre-forward, seems a definite target for Bayern for
the following season, and this does nothing to alleviate the sense of impermanence that surrounds
Mandžukić. The conflict has little in common with Thomas Müller’s situation. Müller, whose attitude
is perfect, just needs to adapt to being a forward rather than a midfielder. In Mandžukić’s case, his
performance on the pitch is superb and it is his attitude that is the problem.

He has to be vigilant where Mandžukić is concerned. In less than two months he has changed from
a receptive team member to being defiant and negative and then, recently, back to a great team player
again. At the moment he is giving 100% and is the one who pushes the whole group and accepts
everything positively. His attitude is excellent. However, we have yet to see what will happen if
Götze takes his place.
If Mandžukić can accept the fact that he will be a substitute from time to time and that in the
difficult days of rain and cold, he will be an almost certain starter, everything will go swimmingly for
him and he will be a key member of the team.

He has an intense, serious chat with them, waving his hands aggressively, surprising many of them by declaring: ‘I to hold one of you up as an example to the rest. Mario Mandžukić. He and I didn’t have the best of starts and knew
immediately that we were never going to be mates. But I can tell you that there is no one better than him. Nobody that tries harder, who comes to the ground more fired-up. This is a player who gives everything out there. That’s why he’s the best. He’s the one who sacrifices most for the team and in all my years as a coach I have never had a forward like him. Nobody has been better for the reasons I’ve just given you. In this team there’s Mario and 10 others.’

Many months later, when it is already evident that the forward will not be staying for the following
season, I ask Pep about him: ‘Look, I’d go to war with Mandžukić because he supports the team like
no one else when he plays. He presses constantly and works till he drops. But when he isn’t playing,
well…’

Manđo moze zabit gol ako mu ga netko drugi namjesti, po mogucnost da gurne u gol ili da zakuca glavim. Ne pamtim kad je taj igrac prosao nekog igraca i sam se izborio za gol. Mozda nekad davno u zagrebu.

nema on nos za napravit sam sebi šansu, 1 na jedan s obranom kod njega ne postoji jer ima tehniku goru od olica,

ugl, nije mi napadac u ukusu

kad vec seres toliko.
Mandzo nije vrh vrhova, ali je nas najbolji napadac i to ce ostat jos neko vrijeme.

mi smo premala nacija da bi imali odlicno pokrivene sve tri linije. Nemoguce nam je skupit takvu generaciju jer jednostavno nemamo toliko demografskih rezervi

sad imamo mega-turbo srednji red, po imenima jedan od najjacih na svijetu, ali ostatak momcadi ga ne prati kvalitetom, narocito u obrani

prije 10-12 godina smo imali granitnu obranu s Kovacem, Simunicem, Simicem i Tudorom, ali bezveznjake u veznom redu s Lekom, Vranjesom, Babicem i slicnima, gdje je Niko Kovac izgledao kao div

pa smo imali fazu sa solidnim napadom (Eduardo, Petric, Olic), ali s prosjecnim ostatkom momcadi. Stalno smo u nekakvoj pretumbaciji i tranziciji jer jedan dio momcadi je na vrhuncu, ali drugi jos nije sazrio ili jedni su na vrhuncu, a drugi polako odlaze

dodaj tamo par igraca koji su dugo u repki, ali nikad nisu dostigli ocekivanu razinu (Kranjcar, Corluka), lutanja s neiskusnim trenerima koji jos ne znaju izvuci maksimum od ekipe i to je to...

vjerojatno bi se te demografske rupe mogle pokriti s profesionalnim jakim skolama, jakim trenerima, poboljsanjem uvjeta u klubovima kao inkubatorima razvoja, pa bi dobili vise igraca cisto srednje europske klase (igrac koji moze igrat u Espanyolu-Evertonu-Sampdoriji), ali na toj razini jos nismo

evo izazova za crtace formacija: koja bi bila druga postava Hrvatske? Sastavite nesto, pa da vidimo koja je to ekipa i vrijedi li nesto u kontinentalnim okvirima
