Farewell to Chaftar and Jelavic

From the Ruhr to the Saar: VfL Bochum 1848 and the third division 1 FC Saarbrücken have agreed on an immediate change of Mounir Chaftar. The Saarlanders the left-back gets, whose contract with VfL until 30 June would have run 2014, a contract until 30 June 2015. Mario Jelavic also leaves Bochum.

In summer 2012 Chaftar was changed from SV Wacker Burghausen on Castroper road. He played 22 second-division and a DFB-Pokal match in the jersey of VfL. In addition, the 28-year-old came three times in the U23 used.

In addition to Mounir Chaftar also belongs to Mario Jelavic no longer the professional squad VfL Bochum 1848. The club and the player agreed to a contract.

The 20-year-old striker had come from the Croatian club Slaven Belupo Koprivnica to VfL the summer of 2013. His contract in Bochum would have extended until the summer of 2015.
