Manchester United Latest: Javier Hernandez Out, Mateo Kovacic In?

According to Turin based newspaper La Stampa, Inter Milan could be willing to sell one of their prized assets Mateo Kovacic to Manchester United, should they land Red Devil’s striker Javier Hernandez as a part of the deal.

The Mexican forward has played a peripheral role at Manchester United under David Moyes this season and has been linked with a move to Arsenal.

The 19-year-old Kovacic was linked with a move to Manchester United back in 2011, when he was still playing for Dinamo Zagreb and it was reported that Old Trafford hierarchy was reluctant to sanction the L10 million bid required securing his services.

Manchester United need to invest in the winter transfer window and focus will be on to improve the central midfield department. United signed Fellaini in the summer transfer window, but Moyes probably feels that the Belgian is not the solution to United’s midfield problems. The Croatian Kovacic is a highly talented midfielder, who can play both as an attacking and as defensive midfield role and certainly has the tactical maturity to excel at the highest level.

The report doesn’t say clearly whether Inter Milan is looking for a direct swap deal or cash plus player transfer, but it would suit both parties, should the deal go through. Hernandez has only made 4 league start this season and time has come where he needs to play regular football, which at the moment United cannot guarantee him.

Prije par dana sam postavio pitanje što  mislite dal će Kovačić završit u Man.Utd-u a Rakitić i Liverpoolu.

Jer sam ,čuo negdje da će Kovačić za 25 milja € završit u Engleskoj.

Pa prije tjedan dana je izaslo vijest da su United, Galatasaray i Shakhtar poslali ponude za Kovacica.   Inter odbio.   A tada je spomen iznos od 25m eura.

Mario Mandzukic's agent has insisted that the Bayern Munich striker is not interested in a move to Juventus this month.

A number of recent reports suggested that the Serie A champions are considering making a move for the Croatia international, but Ivan Cvjetkovic has made it clear that a transfer is not an option for his client at the moment.

"Juventus? Mandzukic is fully focused on Bayern Munich. He has a contract for two more years after this season and he's feeling very good in Munich," the striker's agent told Tuttosport.

"Pep Guardiola really values Mario a lot and has shown just that in the first half of the season.

"Mandzukic wants to stay at Bayern and defend the Champions League title."

The 27-year-old has been an integral part of Bayern's first team this season, scoring 10 goals in 16 Bundesliga appearances as of the winter break.
