Milan is pondering which players to purchase in the next fee weeks. Executive director Adriano Galliani will meet with president Silvio Berlusconi this evening (as often happens on Mondays) in Arcore to go over some potential moves. Galliani will bring up the deal for Genoa’s Vrsaljko, he is just waiting for the go ahead regarding the financial side of the deal. It’a also possible they could discuss another purchase considering that Kaka’, Birsa, Nocerino have left and maybe Matri and Robinho could be on their way out. Milan is considering some moves to improve Inzaghi’s roster, in the meantime Vrsaljko is close to joining the rossoneri.

Milan and Genoa are working on a few potential transfer moves. The meeting between Galliani and Preziosi just ended in Milan’s headquarters, they talked for an hour and a half about Matri and Vrsaljko. Milan has made their proposal for Vrsaljko, but Genoa still wants to talk to Sassuolo (who has Juve’s backing) and Fiorentina. Genoa wants to maximize it’s return on Vrsaljko despite their close relationship with Milan. There is also some difficulty regarding Matri, Genoa has issues paying the wages of the former Juve striker and they would like some help with it. Vrsaljko and Matri’s negotiations are tied together, and despite the desire to close the deals there is some stalling now. Milan is trying to Genoa president Preziosi is looking for the right deal.
