Werder Bremen striker Ivan Klasnic has reportedly been offered to La Liga outfit Valencia.
The prolific hit-man is currently in Germany with Croatia's
World Cup squad but his club future is now the subject of much
speculation.
With the emergence of Nelson Valdez, Klasnic found his place
threatened at the Weser Stadion last season and reports in Spain now
suggest that the German side have offered him to Valencia for a
cut-price €4 million (£2.7 million).
Che sporting director Amedeo Carboni is believed to be keen on
the 26-year-old and Valencia could now make a move for his services in
the coming week.
Carboni has reputedly been impressed by initial reports about
the striker and could look to reinforce the Che front-line with only
David Villa managing to find the net on a regular basis at the Mestalla
last season.
However German outfit Hamburg have also been linked with
Klasnic as they search for a replacement for Ailton, who rejoined
Besiktas after a loan spell last season.
