Assistant coach Aitor Karanka analysed tomorrow's match against Getafe in today's press conference.

"Xabi Alonso trained normally today and is ready to play. Getafe are a complicated opponent. They defeated Barcelona at their stadium earlier this season. Luis Garcia has come up with a rather good squad that defends well and counterattacks."

"There's nothing new to say about Granero at this stage. He grew up here and is a spectacular player. He was affected by his preseason injury at the start of the campaign. We have a small squad because that's how we wanted it and Granero always does a good job whenever he plays."

"We always said Kaka would be important. He is becoming more confident. His sort can really help a team when in form and that's the case with him now."

"The best way to build form is by playing games and Sahin isn't having that chance. That affetcs his confidence because he was an important player in Germany. We're sure he will overcome this."

"Di Maria will not be called-up until he is 100% fit. He had a problem and won't play until he's in good form. We have a quality squad and everyone is doing well. We have to include 18 players in each squad list and we believe Carvalho is sometimes perfect for a match and not so much for others. What matters is that he's ready for us when we need him."

"We mentioned referees after our Copa del Rey match because everyone saw what happened, but I'm not going to discuss what Barcelona say about them now. Real Madrid have always mentioned referees whether they've done a good job or a bad one. I experienced this many times as a player and everything changes each day. It all goes by very quickly."
