evo sta mi je drugar iz izraela napisao za beer shevu
Hapoel Beer Sheva is the southest team in the Israeli League, Play in Beer Sheva of course. they won two championships, in 1974/75 and 1975/76 and one Israeli Cup in 1996/1997 season. Their Owner is a Lady named Alona Barkat, her husband is the brother of Nir Barkat, the Jerusalem Mayor.
They play in Red-White colors, Their fans are good and for sure fill in the stadium, but the game against you won't be held in Beer Sheva beacuse their stadium is old and not deemending the UEFA standards. Next year they will play in a new 16,000 seat stadium.
Their European History is not good at all. They last played in europe in the 90's, against Aris Thessaloniki and lost. They also played against FC Barcelona and lost 0-7 and 0-5, In CWC but their heaviset defeat was against Roda JC, 4:1 and 10:0! today they are a different team of course.
Their budget is approx. something like 35 million Shekel (10 Million $)
Last year they finished after us, Maccabi Tel-Aviv, and actually were runners up for the first time since their two championships since the 70's.
Until game 26 (of 36) they were close to us, and the differece was something between 3-6 pts but they collapsed in the playoff and finished 16 pts after us.
Maccabi Tel-Aviv is much stronger team of course, Hapoel Tel-Aviv is suffering of a bad financial problemes and Maccabi Haifa was Catostraphic in last season, but should be much better this year.
They play a lot on Direct FK and Corners, their flow game isn't that good, and most of their goals last year scored from those situations, and they had tons of luck last season, their 2nd place finished was beacuse of the weakness of their rivals, but if Kiryat Shmona (The best team in Israel in the least 3 years after Maccabi Tel-Aviv by far) would start to get together 3 to 5 five matches earlier they would finish 3rd for sure.
Championship Group:
1. Maccabi Tel-Aviv 84
2. Hapoel Beer Sheva 68
3. Ironi Kiryat Shmona 64
4. Hapoel Tel-Aviv 58
5. Maccabi Haifa 53
Last year they lost in the Israeli Cup semi final to Kiryat Shmona inthe 90th minute and sent their 20,000 fans all the way home sad.
They have a couple of good players, Elyaniv Barda, Striker, Israeli International, that playd for seven years in Genk and was named their top Foreign goalscorer in History and onw of their favorite players ever, won 2 championships with them and one cup and played with them ion the CL.
Maor Buzaglo, Midfielder, Israeli International, talented player, played in Maccabi Tel-Aviv 4 years ago, the the last three seasons until last year in Standard Liege.
Shlomi Arbeitman, Striker, played for the last for season in Belguim, with Gent, Mons and Westerlo.
Gleynor Plet, Striker, Dutch International, played in Heracles (scored 17 in 41), FC Twente (scored 2 in 14), Genk (scored 10 in 22). Great Player!
Austin Ejide, Goalkeeper, currently in the world cup, is the substitute Keeper for the GREAT Vincent Enyema, played in Beer Sheva for the last 3 seasons, gave great season last year.
Tomislav Pajovic, Central Defender, Serbian, played in 2013 with Partizan Beograd.
William Soares, Central Defender, Brazillian, their captain, playing for 5 years there.
Ofir Davidzada, right defender, Israeli Internationa, very talented player.
how many fans do they have? (full stadium or little number of fans?)
They have a lot of fans, beacuse their an Metropolitan City. their old and ugly stadium was the reason they didn't filled it last season in most matches but their average there is something between 5-7,000. Thei will fill the Moshava Stadium in Petah Tikva (where the game will be played) with 10,000 almost for sure.
Their Nickname is THE CAMELS beacuse their in the fucking desert.
Yossi Benayoun grew up their and played there until he was 19 year old.
Their Stadium is called Vasermil, on the memory of a little bot that was murdered in the Hullocaust, Their new stadium will be named after the last Mayor, Jacob Terner, and will be with 16,000 places.
Their Coach is Elisha Levy, won the championship twice with Maccabi Haifa, played with them in the CL Group Stage and managed to write a record!!! of 6 losses, 0 goals and 0 points!
