Five great keeper cock-ups
1. ROB GREEN — England B 1 Belarus 2, 2006. Green’s left leg collapsed under him as he took a goal-kick, leaving an open goal.
2. DAVID SEAMAN — Brazil 2 England 1, 2002. Ronaldinho’s free-kick sailed over him and sent us crashing out of the World Cup.
3. JERZY DUDEK — Liverpool 1 Man Utd 2, 2002. Dudek stooped to catch the ball but let it through his arms and legs, giving United’s Diego Forlan an easy goal.
4. PETER ENCKELMAN — Birm’ham 3 Villa 0, 2002. Villa’s keeper failed to control Olof Mellberg’s throw-in and let it roll in.
5. GARY SPRAKE — Liverpool v Leeds, 1967. Tried to throw the ball to a Leeds team-mate but it slipped out of his hands and into net.
