So here's another piece of information connecting Croatian and Russian football -- I haven't seen it mentioned yet. exGulag was "agit-proping" our Russian friends to start supporting Dinamo Zagreb, but he failed to mention that the club is called Dinamo because at the time of its founding (right after WW II), the old Zagreb club names were "politically incorrect" (Građanski, Concordia, HAŠK), and since Dinamo Moscow was, allegedly, kicking ass at the time, they decided to name the club Dinamo. It had nothing to do with any affiliation with the police (the club was never affiliated with police or any other state institution, quite the contrary, some would say), but simply with the fact that they were impressed with Dinamo Moscow at the time.

I am going to space, and when I come back I have to pick up poodle crap.
