Stojković povređen

Zvanično treći golman naše reprezentacije, Vladimir Stojković, pridružio se svojim reprezentativnim drugovima u Bilerbeku, ali je sa sobom iz Portugalije, sa Evropskog prvenstva mladih reprezentacija, doneo i povredu.

Kako je potvrdio trener golmana Zoran Lemajić, Vladimir Stojković ima povredu prepona. On je i pored toga odradio ceo trening sa ekipom u sredu, a ostaje da vidimo kakvo će biti njegovo stanje narednih dana, kao i da li će raditi u punom ritmu u četvrtak, kada naša selekcija trenira uz otvorena vrata igrališta u Bilerbeku.

Lemajić je istovremeno potvrdio da će Stojković i pored svojih dokazanih kvaliteta biti tek treći golman reprezentacije i da će, u slučaju povrede prvog golmana Jevrića, prednost imati rezervni golman Oliver Kovačević.

Henry je navikao da za njega igra cijela momčad. A on i Zidane se ne podnose. Ne možeš a da ne pomisliš kako se podsvjesno međusobno ne pokušavaju sabotirati. Isto kao  npr Tudor i Butina na Euru.

Shevchenko scores on Ukraine return

Ukraine captain Andriy Shevchenko gave his side a huge FIFA World Cup™ boost on Thursday, scoring as a second-half substitute in his first game after a month out with a knee injury.

Shevchenko, the 2004 European Player of the Year, featured for 30 minutes as Ukraine beat Luxembourg 3-0 in their final warm-up. Coach Oleg Blokhin said it was too early to give Shevchenko a clean bill of health.

FIFA World Cup debutants Ukraine open their Group H campaign on Wednesday against Spain in Leipzig and Blokhin said: "In a few days we can say how he is feeling."

The 29-year-old, one of the most feared strikers in world football, appeared to show no ill-effects from the injury, sustained playing for AC Milan, which has forced him to miss friendlies against Costa Rica, Italy and Libya.

He tapped in the easiest of chances from a deflected pass as Ukraine scored twice in the final seven minutes for a somewhat flattering victory against a team ranked 152nd in the world.

Shevchenko entered the fray just minutes after pony-tailed striker Andriy Voronin, also a substitute, had broken the deadlock after an insipid first half at the Stade Jose Barthel.

Voronin despatched a clinical right-foot shot past Jonathan Joubert to cheer a 100-strong band of Ukraine fans who had grown frustrated by their side's lacklustre opening 45 minutes. Another substitute, Maxim Kalinichenko, added a third goal as Luxembourg tired.

Blokhin was far from happy with his side's first-half showing but acknowledged that they were "more threatening after the break".

"Luxembourg did not defend so well in the second half and after I made some changes we were much better in attack," he said.

Ukraine, the first European side to secure qualification for Germany, are based in Potsdam, near Berlin, for the opening stage of the month-long tournament. Tunisia and Saudi Arabia make up Group H.
