Seahawksi se rijesili Grants pa se sad nagadja da ce uzeti Berryja ili Maysa.
With the Seattle Seahawks cutting safety Deon Grant there is now a sign of things to come when April's draft day comes.
With two first round picks in the 2010 NFL Draft, there are many holes to fill in Seattle including: left tackle, future franchise quarterback, running back, and now safety, to name a few.
Does this mean the new head coach Pete Carroll is eyeing one of two safeties, including one of which he is very familiar with?
There is a higher percentage of this now.
Both Eric Berry and Taylor Mays have been seen in various mocks as one of the Seahawks' two draft picks.
Berry is a playmaker who is compared to Ed Reed and could very well be the next big Pro Bowl safety in the NFL, but Mays played with Carroll in USC last season and he can bring leadership and a knowledge of Carroll's schemes to the defensive unit as well.
Either player would be a good fit in Seattle, but which one will it be?
The current trend in mock drafts say that Berry will most likely get picked either by the Chiefs at No. 5 or earlier.
In this case, the Seahawks have a very good chance to grab Mays with their second of two first rounders.
That could leave them to either pick an offensive tackle, quarterback, or running back at No. 6.
If Berry is there at No. 6 he will be very tempting and if the Seahawks go with Berry that early then there are many other options for them to pick with their second first-rounder.
Berry or May?
Either is a solid pick, especially now that there is a opening in the defensive secondary with Grant's departure.
“Kam hit this tight end SO HARD, I swear I saw that TE’s soul leave Qwest Field right on that 35 yard line.”
