One year John Randle threw a Halloween Costume Party right before we played the Steelers.   Trent Dilfer & I went as Def Leppard.   My fake sleeve tattoo didn't wear off in time for Sunday.

I've only seen him once since he retired.   Ran into him at the Medical Teams International Field of Dreams event this summer.   He was getting ready to babysit some grandkids while his wife & daughter volunteered in the Congo.   he seemed a bit nervous. I'm sure it went well... not that sure... but I hope it did.

Usually a couple of rookies will stay home & pass out the candy.   I walk around with the kids.   Last year I went as the Burger King King.   Need a costume idea for this year.   Maybe Jay Buhner or Freddie Ljungberg?
