One thing I learned a long time ago:
If it looks red, it is red.
If it looks blue, it is blue.
IF it looks fixed, then you have the right to suspect that it was.
That field goal attempt was botched by a ball that looked 'red and blue'; that is, it looked like it was oiled.
I'm 40, not 12. I've seen some things. I believe that ball was oiled to screw up the play.
Too much big money passing back and forth in the NFL nowadays for them
to leave it to pure chance. The home team gets to control certain
functions of the game.
This leaves them the opportunity to do something if they want.
What? You really believe that everyone in the world is honest, and will
just do what they think is right because they choose to?
Wake up. This is the real world. I'm a Christian, and I wouldn't do it.
But , there are people out there that would cheat for a lot less than
what that game meant last night.
They should have kept the ball. I guarantee it would have been worth it.
But the NFL wants you to be naive to this so you'll keep buying tickets.
----------
"My sister was at the game. She said that ball was not wiped down
before it was taken out to the field. She said every other ball was
wiped down before it went out on the field of play."
----------
And one other thing. I have a cousin who was at the game. He said that
the Seattle fans love it everytime a play is reviewed because
apparently the review official at their stadium lives in the area and
it's an inside joke to them that he is in their back pocket. Apparently
whenever there is a challenge they all do some sort of celebration
chant. It's this whole big deal they are known for. Somebody told me
that Seattle has the best success rate at home challenges in the league
and it's not even close. It's just like how Oklahoma got jobbed in
Oregon because the review official was the Oregon coaches friend.
