The Poles were really disappointed after the match:

"We didn’t play with 'cold' heads; we were shooting badly and not accurately enough. These were the reasons of our defeat. Croatia were better today because we made mistakes," said Karol Bielecki.

It is easy to understand that the Croats were happy and smiling: "It was a tough match, especially as we know how important it was. Now that we won we are more self-confident. At the beginning we did not know how it would turn out, but now I think we are ready for further challenges," said Renato Sulic after the match.

To the question whether they are again favourites for the title after so many problems and injuries, he answered:

"We have to go match by match. Slowly, up to the top."
