“Siemens Arena” is a world-class sports, entertainment and business complex which will host the most important events in Lithuania.
Initiators and owners of Arena - “Rubicon group“, one of biggest group of companies in Lithuania. Architects - “Stadium Consultants International, inc.“ (Canada) ir “Jungtinės Architektų Dirbtuvės“ (Lithuania).
The length of the Arena is 105 m, and width - 83 m. The total combined area of the five levels of the Arena is 20,000 square metres and its volume is over 200,000 cubic metres.
Investments into the multipurpose Arena project amount to 65 million litas, not including the amount that the Vilnius Municipality is investing into the surrounding infrastructure (street extensions, modernisation of intersections, etc.). The groundbreaking of the Arena started in July 2003 and first event - World Championship of Sports Dancing - was carried out in October 30th, 2004.
Maximum numbers of spectators:
- basketball game: 11 000
- concert: 12 000
- ice hockey: 8 750
- theatre performance: 3 500
There is one high-class restaurant, 5 bars and 10 fast-food outlets in the Arena.

dakle, litavci su za 25 milijuna dolara, ili ti 18 milijuna eura izgradili dvoranu za 11000 ljudi.....sa svim popratnim sadrzajima i okolicom....
dakle, te price o 70 milijuna eura su nerealne, ako litavci mogu dvoranu za 11000 ljudi sagradit za 18 milijuna....
ajmo rec da je to 2 mil, cak i manje po tisuci gledatelja, to je negdje oko 30 mil za jednu dvoranu od 18 000 ljudi....
iako nije bas neka matematika na stabilnim nogama , ipak je ovo balkan.....
