The ranking of each team in each group will be determined
as follows:
a) greatest number of points obtained in all group matches;
b) goal difference in all group matches;
c) greatest number of goals scored in all group matches.
If two or more teams are equal on the basis of the above three
criteria, their rankings will be determined as follows:
d) greatest number of points obtained in the group matches between the
teams concerned;
e) goal difference resulting from the group matches between the teams
concerned;
f) greater number of goals scored in all group matches between the teams
concerned;
g) drawing of lots by the FIFA Organising Committee.
Dakle, bodovi, pa ukupna gol razlika, pa ukupni broj postignutih golova. Ako je sve to jednako, onda tek međusobni susreti. A ako je sve jednako i međusobno, izvlačenje.
Mislim da je jednom bilo izvlačenje već, u USA 94, u onoj grupi ITA-IRE-NOR-MEX. Ne znam točno koje dvije ekipe su bile skroz izjednačene na 2. i 3. mjestu, ali onda je bilo samo 6 skupina (24 repke), pa su 4. najbolje trećeplasirane išle dalje, tj. iz te grupe su i 2. i 3. išli dalje. No morali su izvlačiti tko će bit na kojoj poziciji radi daljnjeg, unaprijed određenog ždrijeba...
