WEST HAM are set to complete the signing of Robert Kovac after the defender
snubbed Dinamo Zagreb.
The Croatian international, 34, will move to Upton Park on loan with a view to a
£3million summer move.
And Kovac, who currently plays for German side Borrusia Dortmund, admitted the
lure of the Premier League proved too hard to resist.
He said: "The last decision was for me to choose West Ham over Dinamo but
my decision was because of the Premier League.
"West Ham love Croats, they already had Slaven Bilic and Davor Suker in
their squad.
"This year I will be 35 and I only have a few years left before I become
known as a veteran, so I want to realise my dream of playing in one of the
main championships."
