Why would they do that though?
The stimulus bill that was intended to help with the hospitals that were being overrun vith Covid patients created an incentive to report some things as Covid that is difficult to say no to, especially if your hospital is going bankrupt for lack of other patients...
...if the hospital is half full, it is hard to make ends meet. So now you've got like... I just check this box, I get $8000... put them on a ventilator for 5 minutes and get $39000...
Or, I can fire some doctors.
This is a tough moral quandary. What you're going to do? That's the situation we have.
