A ona ovih dana očitala bukvicu vimbldonskim pobjednicama!
Šteta što ih ima tako malo...
P. S.
“My tactic was to move very well and bring the balls back and also deep.
So I tried to do this. I start very well in the second set. I mean, she
hit winners and I had no chance actually, but I was just try to
fighting until the last point and keep moving well. So, yeah, I do my
plan actually very well tonight,” Kerber said.
Kvitova defeated Li for the Rogers Cup title Monday, so reporters asked who she thought would win the W&S Open title.
“I think that Li Na win. I think that if she will not as crazy as me
today, she can win,” Kvitova said. “Yeah, I saw her when she played
tonight against the Venus, and I think if she will play similar, I think
she will have tomorrow going for the volleys. So we will see. ”
Kerber said she’s having fun and will try to continue the stride against Li.
“I need to play for sure 100 percent if I will have a chance to win
this match,” Kerber said. “I think I’m ready. I feel very good here.
It’s the final. I will enjoy it. I enjoyed my whole week here.”
Here are a few notes about the championship match:
- Kerber is the first left handed player to contest the final in Cincinnati since Patty Schnyder won the title in 2005.
- Kerber is looking for her third title of 2012, while Li, a finalist
last week in Montreal, is looking for her first title of the season.
- Li holds a 4-1 edge in their head-to-head meetings.
