Djordje
Drenovac is widely considered at the moment the best young player in
Serbia and one of the best young players in Europe. Djordje is a point
guard that resemble the young Dejan Bodiroga in his style of playing.
Plays much more mature than his age and he is always under control. Has
an amazing technique and a superior court vision. Always thinks much
faster than the players of the same age.
Has been
playing professionally in Austria for Arkadia Traiskirchen since
2008/09. Last season he averaged 8.3 ppg and 2.8rpg in 40 games, helping
the Lions reach the Austrian League semifinals. Was also named
Eurobasket.com All-Austrian Bundesliga Honorable Mention and
Eurobasket.com Austrian Bundesliga All-Bosmans Team 2010. He spent the
summer playing for Serbia at the European under-18 Championships in
Lithuania. Drenovac recorded 6.6 points and 3.4 rebounds as Serbia
reached the medal round and finished fourth. Djordje is
currently having an amazing season in Austria where he is the third
scorer of his team, Arkadia that ranks second in the Austrian A
Bundesliga standings .
