Ako se sjećam u Zabivaki je Beusan rekao da je tokom grupne faze SP efektivne igre bilo cca. 66-67 minuta po utakmici (kao napredak u odnosu na ranije).
Uglavnom, trebalo bi promatrati unazad zadnjih 5-10 godina koliki je prosjek stvarne aktivne igre, procijeniti koliko bi igre bilo pogodno za fizičku sposobnost nogometaša (pogotovo s obzirom na nekih 60-ak utakmica koje odigraju oni na najvišem nivou).
Zatim uvesti tako nešto na nižim nivoima kao provjeru pred uvođenje u vrhunski nogomet i to je to, nebitno bilo 2x30, 2x35 ili 2x40 minuta.

The highest effective playing time among the five major European leagues was recorded for the German Bundesliga (58.5%), while the lowest was measured for the Spanish Liga (55.8%). As for the Champions League, Europa League games are more fluid than the average observed at the level of the 35 competitions surveyed: 57.1% of effective time compared to 55.3%.
